If you're a smoker, heartburn is sometimes unavoidable. I'm a smoker and I know this to be fact. So if you don't smoke don't start. However, the misconceptions with milk and other acid neutralisers such as bicarb of soda may just make it worse, not better. Like a few in here have commented, producing more acid to get rid of the access food in your stomach is where u may want to be at. Yes and apples are good and yes raw patato does seem to work. And yes, it seems apple cider vinegar also does just fine. But it's a fact, if it occurs regular like, rather go and see the doc.
Pretzels!! Snack on some pretzels. I don't know what it is about them, but they work!
chew gum. I use minty flavored. But after a few swallows heartburn is gone.
For heartburn: take a tbsp of apple vinegar cider 30mins before meals
drink a glass of milk before you eat a meal it will help coat your stomach
All you need to do is :
Put cow's milk into a glass around 20%-30% and fill balance 70% to 80% with water.
Drink a glass (water70% + milk30%) daily at night atleast one month.
All will be o.k.
Eating an apple after you first experience heartburn may help. (It worked with my mother.) 10 minutes or so after you eat the apple you should burp a couple of times. Then you will be relieved of the heartburn.
I had severe heartburn while I was pregnant and the one thing that worked was told to me by my mother. Take a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of vinegar mix with 4 ounces of water. This may taste a little yucky but works better than anything I ever tried.
IF YOU HAVE HEARTBURN TAKE A GLASS FILL WITH A LITTLE BIT OF LUKE WARM WATER, ADD LEMON JUICE AND DRINK. DO NOT FILL THE GLASS ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP JUST A LIL. IT WORKS WONDERS FOR THE HEARTBURN RELIEF.
1 tsp. of baking sodas . mix and drink..(p.s) don't add vinergar with sodas, could cause you to foam out of the mouth. these 2 don't mix) LOL
