My aunt recommended this and I have tried it. She said when she was recovering from a C-section, the doctor said to rock in a rocking chair and it would help dissipate the gas. It worked wonders, but as I don't have a rocking chair anymore, I rock back and forth while seated, and it also works.
I drunk some hot cocoa and it worked! I guess hot liquid does get you to burp.
Eat strong, authentic Indian curry. It has loads of cumin. After eating that you will fart so much you can power a sailboat.
1. get a hot warter bottle of a microwaveable heat pack and place it on your stomach right below your ribs. this will expand the gas and force it out.
2. lay on your stomach on your bed and prop yourself up on your elbows, the pressure will force the gas out.
3. sit on the toliet. your body thinks your having a bowel movement and the gas will flow lol.
Pour a cup of hot water over a quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a half teaspoon of ground ginger. Let it steep for at least five minutes (ten would be better), and drink. You can strain it if you want to, but it's not needed. If the taste bothers you, you can add sugar or honey to sweeten it.
charcoal capsules , you can purchase them at a health store -also relieves diarhea , bloating, constipation etc . You can also try drinking a cup of hot water -add a teaspoon of baking soda .
One word: GINGER
Eat it, swallow it in small pieces with water, put it in your tea (don't boil it), what have you. But one way or another, ingest as much ginger as you can. Within reason :)
If you get painful gas on a regular basis it's possible you're lactose intolerant. Up to %70 of people are. Try avoiding dairy or eating yogurt daily.
as said previously in this thread..Kneel on your knees with your buttocks in the air and your head down. It works! if it doesn't..try pushing it out a bit..make sure you are empty!
