Eat two kiwis before your breakfafst every morning and you will have no problems being regular. I always have kiwis on my table; just make a habit of it. Good for your vitamin C intake as well.
I have suffered over many years, on and off, from constipation, involving straining which is not good for lungs or blood pressure, rectal fissures, bleeding, endless hours sitting on the loo etc. Various things work after a fashion, laxatives, Psyllium Husks, but none of them can be completely relied upon when things get a bit desperate. Doctors suggested various remedies, but none ever worked particularly well.
Then I found something which works EVERY TIME......IMMEDIATELY. I have never strained since, no more bleeding, no more pain, no more time wasting. You can pick and choose exactly when to go, so no more discomfort, when travelling for example. There's no chemicals, no drugs, and no ongoing cost (after the initial £7 or so).
Plain and simple - just get yourself a 100ml anal douche (plenty available online). Fill with warm water and squirt it up there. Put three loads up there - it'll only be about 210ml because there's always about 30ml in the bottle after each squirt. Sit on the toilet and try to keep it up there for a minute or two so it can soften everything up. You'll be lucky if you can make two minutes! Then let rip and experience the pure joy of total relief.
Why oh why oh why did no one tell me about this years ago? just try it once. Constipation will be a thing of the past. Promise.
I just did this just now.I went toilet with the right urge to let it out but it just refuse to get out after sitting there for almost an hour! Took 2 glass of warm/hot water. Jog on the spot for 5 mins and went to the bathroom again. It exited with a flash!
I was constipated to the point I felt so uncomfortable with abdominal pains. I ate 5 pitted prunes just to see if it would work and it did ! within 1-2 hours I was relieved :) Hope it works for any of you.
I have used the following to get rid of constipation:
1. 1 bowel of Spinach and ice-burg salad
2. 2 tablespoons of Psyllium Husk with half glass of water
Take salad and Psyllium Husk before bedtime. It worked for me.
I had the worst constipation with extreme shooting pain in the stomach. My dad gave me boiled 2 percent milk with 1 spoon sugar and pieces of Ginger added. ThAt did the trick, I went immediately to the bathroom. Just drink the Milk hot, it is more effective.

Before eating anything in the morning drink a cup of hot boiled water with 1/2 slice or full slice lemon, sitting for 1hr and relaxing before my hectic day starts is the most recent thing that keeps me regular, then repeat at night before bed should be the last thing you have after eating, for me it's as though it soothes & relax's the intestines. I became gluten intolerant 22yrs ago the Drs had no idea what it was, they called it IBS I had endoscopy, colonoscopy they couldn't see any problem, I was on all meds going, constipated for 12wks once almost poisoned my system, at 25yrs I discovered I was gluten intolerant and just watching that alone reall helped the constipation leaps & bounds, but if I have to take meds for anything it totally messes my plumbing up, so lemon & hot water does the trick. I hope it works for all of you as it does for me, everyones body is different and sometimes we have to change the routine up because the body will become immune to it after a while.

Eat okra. This is a vegetable that you find on the
Frozen products. To cook just follow package diirections, add some chicken bullion, onion, garlic. You could make a soup with corn and potatoes. Have it for lunch or dinner. Eat fruit like papaya, berries, kiwi, pears, Stay away from lactose, rice. Drink warm water before breakfast.

I have had constipation issues due to prescription medications I have to take on a daily basis. I have found two things that work immediately; Raisin Bran cereal and Mineral Oil. It's that easy for me and this is SERIOUS constipation! 2-3 tablespoons of Mineral Oil does it! If you are the kind that needs extra fiber, plain old Raisin Bran in the morning and you may just have to call in work that day because your bathroom will be seriously occupied! If either of those do not work for you, you may have something more serious going on medically like a blockage of some kind. Good luck!
