I will state this as bluntly and as truthful as I can. CHOLESTEROL DOES NOT CAUSE HEART DISEASE. It is a symptom used by those that base their medical training on treating symptoms and not causes. If one is interested in lowering their levels of this necessary and natural body function one should look at the liver and the colon and treat for toxicity and get them in balance and harmony. One should never take statins since statins stop the production of co q10 and does serious damage to the health. Not to worry though because your doctor can come up with another drug or a surgery to keep you alive long enough to bleed the insurance company for more money.

I reduced my cholesterol from 260 to 198 in two years with no meds. My triglicerides went down too. Here's what I did:
Exercise (curcuit training and walking)
Oatmeal every morning with ground flax seed on top.
almonds or almond butter every evening
Cut out margarine completely. Olive oil is much better, and even butter is better than margarine
Increased fresh fruits and veggies
Ate more fish
Reduced fat as much as possible in the diet. For instance, we went to 96 percent lean hamburger instead of the cheaper kind.
Supplements: fish oil, garlic, pomegranite, plant stenols and plant sterols.

My mother in law was in Albania this summer visiting her family. She mentioned to them she couldn’t eat certain foods because of her high cholesterol. They taught her this remedy.

Take 20 lemons and 20 cloves of garlic. Squeeze the lemons and peel and crush the garlic into some kind of bottle with a closed cap. Store in a dark place for twenty days. After the 20 days are done start drinking a half cup full every morning 20 minutes BEFORE eating /drinking.

Finish bottle and visit and visit doctor. Also helps you loose weight.

Good Luck

If you walk for at least two and a half hours a week, you'll be less likely to have a high cholesterol level. Walkers are also found to have substantially higher levels of those cholesterol components that are most helpful in avoiding heart disease. It also improves bone density, controls weight and strengthens the overall cardiovascular system. Source: oldnaturalremedies.com
