Had toe nail fungus for a long time and it was very stubborn. I tried many things... nothing work. It was white and powdery. I believe I got it from previous owner when I moved in my new house and my toe nail was blue and broken at the time. I could see yellow spots began to appear on the nail and it became white later on and it spread to my other toe nails. When I switched diet to alkaline diet a year ago I was surprised to see the fungus disappeared by itself. I also drink ACV every day so perhaps combining ACV with alkaline diet helps a lot more. I believe the fungus indicate the state of your health.
I h ave fungus in my toe nails for a few years. I saw a dermatologist and she said there was a pill for that but could cause liver damage which at that point I said I would live with the fungus which I really do not like at all. I went to the woman who does my pedicure and she cut my nails very short, cleaned out the fungus that was between my nails and skin and gave me a product. She said to use it twice a day every day and it takes a while for it to clear up. I finished the bottle which was very small but decided not to purchase it again . So I decided to check out the home remedies and I decided to use the one part of white vinegar with two parts of warm water and I am beginning to see a little more of a difference, though there was a slight difference with the bottle for the pedicurist. I have a strong feeling with patience and devotion of using this mixture it will get rid of it completely. I think no matter what treatment we all go with it takes a few months to really see it clear up completely. I will get back to you in a few weeks to give you an update on my choice of vinegar (white) and warm water. Good luck to you all with your choices.
Any vapor-chest rub gel will do. Vicks or any other store brand.
The fungus bacteria cannot take the Camphor and Menthol that is in the gel.
It will eliminate the fungus !
Trim and clean your toes. Dry well.
Apply on infected toes the gel rub from the small tab, using the tip of finger, in the morning and at night, before going to sleep.
Use for 10 days or more.
The fungus will be gone.
Clean and trim your nails and scrape any old fungus from under the nails.
*You can also use any mouthwash, better the light color, or your toes will be blue for awhile, put your toes into a deep plastic bowl and pour the mouthwash until your toes are covered.
Leave them for 20 minutes or more, twice a day for couple of weeks.
After each use, cover the liquid and re-use it for 3 days, than put fresh mouthwash. I did both, they worked well, but the vapor rub gel is easier to use, less hassle. Good luck with it.
Happy toes to you !
