666 Home Remedies for Genital Warts

A month or two ago I noticed these weird looking growths inside my vagina.. Typically I googled and was almost certain it was GW. Went to the doctors and after waiting 45mins to see her. she dismissed my concerns saying "it's probably just glands." I wasn't satisfied with this and made an appointment with another doctor.. straight away she said "it looks like warts." My heart sunk. I felt disgusting. I'm only 20yo and all the forums i looked at had a lot of 'recurring' topics - this was not comforting.

I have done plenty of research and have started taking garlic and olive leaf tablets, and Blooms Viral Guard Immunity Support tablets (all antiviral ingredients) along with eating healthy (although i do slip up). I've only been taking these for a few weeks now and have already noticed a difference! Internally i look much better, however there are now growths on my vulva which i have applied Warticon so hopefully that will help. I cannot express how much positive thinking helps. Do not stress, do not be upset. You are NOT alone! My doctor assures me every time this is incredibly common.

8 Years of having warts and i'm finally free!!! Ok, I don't have any secret formula or anything for you to try. I'll just share with you what helped ME. I have had warts for 6 years. I had to explain to people what they were and at times painfully admit that I had them (Please don't feel bad!) You're still human and A LOT of people have GW's. I got mine from my ex who had no clue she had them(Cant fault her) anyway. It got to a point where my warts multiplied and grew over the years. Constant condom rubbing and moisture from having sex does NOT help. This does not mean quit having sex by any means. But, warts do love moisture. It got to a point where they were getting REALLY bad. I tried the ACV and the tea tree oil combo for a little while. It did help bring down the size of some of the bigger ones. Also helped some of the small ones come off. I tried a few other things as well. The greatest things that i did that really helped were these. 1.) Quit smoking. 2.) I started eating healthy, not to get rid of the warts but just to be healthy.(Im a smoothie nut now.) and 3. My girlfriend bought me some all natural soap which contained tea tree oil. I don't know exactly what did it. But all I know is. The last few weeks have done more for me than the last 8 years has. All I know is I had warts a month ago. I woke up one morning last week and randomly noticed they were gone. I was in shock and so EXCITED. Can you imagine? After 8 years of warts? I jumped up and called my girlfriend in to come take a look. She was excited as well(She loves me regardless though.) Anyway, My warts are gone after having them for what seems forever. I just want anyone who's worrying and struggling to know its not the end of the world. You CAN get rid of them. You dont have to wait 8 years either. Just take care of yourself. ..You want to know what the best thing I did was? I STOPPED FOCUSING ON THEM. Mind over matter. To stop making it such a big deal and wake up one morning with them competely gone??....EPIC.

Love you all and good luck.

Ok, This is my fourth and hopefully final time posting on here for GW. My issues started 6 months ago with one bump on my very upper inner thigh. I did nothing for 2 months. Then, 4 months ago I went to the doctor to be seen for the first time about the bump, which I thought had 'spread' to 4 bumps. The doctor put the acid solution on 2 of the 4 bumps. She wasn't even 100\\% sure the bumps she treated were warts, and she said 2 of the 4 were ingrowns for sure so she didn't treat them. So, now I am down to 2 bumps after the doctor burned the other 2 off with acid. For the next 3-4 months, I keep an eye on the 2 bumps (I am not as convinced as the doctor that they are ingrowns). I try applying coconut oil, it makes them bigger. I try applying tea tree oil, it definitely helps reduce the size and seems to make them go away, but not all the way. But I am still convinced they are warts. One of the bumps 'flared up' in the heat and the next day broke open and pus started coming out, so that's when I call the doctor again. I just went into the doctor yesterday. I told her all of this. She looked at the 2 bumps that have been there for 6 months. She confirms they are NOT WARTS. They are ingrown hairs. She says "warts will never have pus coming out of them" and they don't typically get irritated / swell in the heat. So, through all of this, I am not even 100\\% sure I EVER had warts. They could have all been ingrown hairs. I feel so silly - but also incredibly relieved. If your "warts" have pus coming out of them, they are probably not warts, and infected ingrown hairs. Google "ingrown hair cyst" and "infected ingrown hair" and you will see. I NEVER thought ingrowns could get like that, but boy was I wrong. So final tips of advice: Go to the freaking doctor and get a professional eye on your bumps. Don't go 6 months stressing about something you might not even have! Also, don't shave or wax, wear loose clothing (I've started going commando daily and I'll never look back to underwear again!). Honestly, I've started just looking at my lady parts in the mirror daily to get a better idea of what everything looks like when it's normal / healthy and I think this will help people get oriented with their private parts and what is normal and what is not. Also, warts are incredibly sensitive, tender and itchy, and mine were not very tender. Ok good luck ya'll. Go to the doctor. It's worth every penny for peace of mind.

I had genital warts in 2012, they were spreading. I applied raw garlic and after few minutes I applied asprin as a a paste to freeze them and taking vitamin E with amulti-vitamin supliments from the pharmacy. I did that 3 times a day after bathing. Within 2 days the warts started to fall off. Since they havent reoccured and now I have a one year healthy baby and my partner has never had them. I try to eat healthy every now and then to keep my immune system strong. This home remedy works like a charm, I didnt consult with a doctor

This is my 3rd time posting on here. When it First occurred in October I tried ACV, it kind of worked, brought down size but didn't get rid. Went to doc because one spread into 4 they burned two out of the 4 off. The doc didn't think the other 2 were warts. Then I tried my own home remedy of burts bees herbal blemish stick and I thought that worked but they reappeared. I treated with ACV again and it looks like one is gone but one is not so I'm going back to the doctor on Tuesday and I am really hoping they just treat them both like the other ones because that worked like a charm... Aloe Vera helps for when they become irritated. Also, don't touch them, keep them clean and dry. Eat healthy,'don't stress and I really would just go to the doc you'll feel better. You can go without insurance. It's worth it.

I hope the peroxide work for me about to try as we speak.thanks

I've been on this site many times with the hopes of finding an at home remedy because I was too embarrassed to go to the doctor. After about a year and a half of dealing with warts that covered the bottom half of my vagina, I finally found something that worked for me. I've tried acv, tea tree oil, hydrogen peroxide, Compound W(gel), and iodine tincture non of which worked and most burned like hell. After doing some research, I stumbled upon a site where this guy said that he used computer duster to freeze the warts. So while on a trip to walmart I picked up a can. The brand name is Ultra duster. The way I did it was that I turned the can upside down and then pressed the trigger releasing liquid instead of air into a small cap. The can will warn against it saying that if you do that it may cause frostbite, but that's the whole point. It works like the liquid Compound W but it's slightly stronger. Once I got the liquid, i used a q-tip and dipped it in it and held it to the small warts for about 2 seconds. Larger warts, I held it there for 5 seconds. I did this twice in the first week and once a week thereafter. Mine are now about 95\\% gone. It took me about a month to get the results I got and I'm assuming that had something to do with the fact that I had so many. Now when you do it, the wart is going to turn white at first but will regain normal color right after you lift the q-tip. You will feel slight pain during contact and a bit of discomfort afterwards but nothing like how it is when using the acv. Make sure to do it in a ventilated room so that you don't breathe in the vapors and just wash your hands afterwards. I told myself that as soon as I found something that works, I would come back to this site and share. I know how depressing it can be to deal with this and really hope that this helps someone that is suffering. Feel free to ask any questions if you have them and good luck to you all!

Hi There! So I’m here to share my experience with you all and hopefully this information will help you with your genital wart (GW) experience.

I am going to put the quick bullet points up here for people who do not want to read my detailed experience below:

- Apple Cider Vinegar: Helped reduce size but did not remove, and burned like heck.

- Coconut Oil: Made the warts grow

- Doctor Treatment: Worked like a charm

- Tea Tree Oil: Worked like a charm

- Stopped Wearing Underwear: Feels amazing, no negatives

- Switched to breezy, natural fabric pants: Feels amazing, no negatives

Other TIPS:

- Reduce stress, eat well, limit alcohol, take vitamins to help your body

- Do not smoke tobacco

- Do not shave, wax

- Do not touch them

- Maintain good hygiene

Here is the full story (It has been a 5-6 month experience):

As a quick background, I am a 29yr old female, have only had 2 partners in the past 8 yrs. Do not smoke tobacco, eat healthy, am active / not overweight, drink 1-2 alcoholic drinks (beer or wine) per day on average, and I smoke weed on a regular daily basis.

October 2015. First GW appeared on my left upper inner thigh. I thought it was a zit or an ingrown. No clue it was a wart. I believe stress was a major factor in its appearance. I had just moved 500 miles to a new city, new place, new life. And when I’m stressed, I eat more junk and drink more.

December 2015. Dang thing is still there, I’m starting to realize it’s not a zit or ingrown. It’s too late though, because I had been touching it, it became irritated and popped. I normally shaving down there. Shaving (as I was told by my doctor later) causes little tiny cuts in the skin. So, when it popped, the virus spread into the tiny shaving cuts, and three more GWs grew in the general region, on the crotch/leg crease, on the inner butt cheek and on the skin by the left vaginal lip (but not on the lip, thankfully). They were much smaller than the one that had been growing for months. They felt like very hard tiny bumps, unlike a zit or ingrown that is softer, but similar in size. They itched sometimes, but rarely, and other than that didn’t really cause any pain.

At this point, I realized I have warts. The realization is a shitty one. For anyone that is reading this that is in that stage right now, just take a deep breath. You are not alone, and it’s the most common STI in the world. You will totally get through this. It’s important to deal with it because not dealing with it right away will only make the problem worse.

Then I come across *this* website while researching home remedies. I tried the Apple Cider Vinegar remedy. I soaked Q-tips in ACV and then applied it to the GWs for about 15 min intervals before taking a break, letting them breathe. (Side note: I also stopped wearing underwear completely during this experience, and haven’t looked back since. I switched to loose clothing made with organic natural fibers and man it feels so amazing I will never go back to wearing underwear ever. Highly recommend trying.)

ACV definitely seemed to help reduce them in size but it burned so freaking bad and wasn’t getting rid of the big one that needed to go. So…

End of December, I go to see the doctor. They put the liquid stuff on to burn them off. But they only put it on 2 of the 4, because the doctor didn’t think the other 2 were actually warts. (insert eye roll here). She says she wants to see me again in a few weeks.

The liquid stuff really worked like a charm. The big one died and peeled off and the other tiny one they treated came off too, all within a couple days.

I was so happy. Went back for a checkup and the doc said everything looks good, and says again she doesn’t think those other two are warts so I go about my life.

For about 4-6 weeks, I don’t think about them. Then I notice the one that is still there that I can see easily (in the leg/crotch crease) is not going away, and itching every now and then, so I decide to just rub a little coconut oil on it and hope it will go away. *This did not work.* In fact, because I was putting the oil on frequently and leaving it on / not wiping it away, the wart stayed moist, and as a result, it started to grow.

***TIP: Keep the warts DRY. Moisture = Bad.

Now it’s March. This one on my crotch-crease is a significant size, and I’m annoyed and grossed out and don’t want to spend the money on going to the doctor again.

I decide, after much online research, to try tea tree oil as a home remedy. I did not have anything on hand, so I went to the store, and found an all-natural product with tea tree oil in it. *I am not being paid to endorse and do not have any relationship with this company or product whatsoever – I really just want to share what worked for me* It’s called Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick. It costs $8 which is much better than the $200+ doc visit.

It works! It only took 5 days to get this thing GONE.

I started applying the tea tree oil on Monday. I did a few too many applications on the first/second day because I got excited it was working. The thing popped and pus started coming out of it.

I totally freaked out because I thought more would grow now, but none did because I haven’t been shaving and don’t have any cuts down around there. When it popped, I dabbed ACV on it just to make sure the virus didn’t spread anywhere.

After that, I cut down and only applied the tea tree oil blend stuff on it about 2-3 times per day max.

I would apply coconut oil to the healthy skin around to moisturize and wipe the excess off. Every day you could see the wart getting flatter and disappearing, and the layers of skin were slowly shedding until it was all flat and healthy. Totally amazing stuff.

So final tip - Tea tree oil 2-3 times per day until it shrinks away!

I am so freaking happy they are gone. My doctor said, the body usually is able to suppress / rid itself of the GW virus within 12-18 months naturally, so it’s most likely not something I will have to deal with forever. She said if you smoke tobacco it takes twice as long.

That’s it, this is wayyyy too long and detailed but maybe some people will read it all and get more insight into the dreaded genital warts and what may work and not work for you --- best of luck getting rid of them.

I have a question that I hope can be answered! Has anyone experienced their warts to be small red bumps? They are actually not hard to look at and could be mistaken for a rash. They are not sore nor itchy. I see many people commenting on how they take more a cauliflower shape. I want to try ACV but I'm not sure if it would work with the type of "warts" I may have. I'm living outside of the country and feel uncomfortable seeing a doctor. I'm assuming that it is genital warts as they have not disappeared in over 6 months! Any suggestions?
