70 Home Remedies for Body Odor and Perspiration

i read through this website and i tried a mixture of some of the remedies.

I used around two teaspoons of baking powder (you could use bicarbonate of soda)which was handy around the house mixed with two teaspoons of lemon juice and stirred. I applied this to my underarms before my shower and left it for a few minutes (don't worry if it slightly stings).

After that i washed it off in the shower with warm water, i didn't need to use any other soap or shower gel as it was already odor free.

When i got out of the shower i applied tea around 4-5 drops of tea tree oil to my underarms and they have stayed odor free.

Cut lime in half and rub one half in each armpit just before you shower. It might give a slight tingling sensation which is alright. It will keep you you odor free for at least 24 hrs.

I keep bi carb of soda in a bowl by the basin and every morning dip a finger in water, then into the powder which I rub gently into each arm pit.
It kills all body odor and lasts 24 hours.
No need for deodorant !

Kill under-arm/personal odor bacteria with alcohol.Apply to all contact clothing points (IE; arpit areas, underwear, socks,Etc ) liberally - then wash in HOT water,if possible. After showering, apply liberal amounts of alcohol to all your personal areas affected. Keep doing this until problem solved. This worked FANTASTIC for me and others I have recommended this to! I still use this method occasionally to keep odors in check , and have been odor-FREE fo 2 years now!

This will likely solve your problem, no matter how bad... naturally. Two amazing things:

Body Mint (take orally) and Dr Mist (spray underarms, feet, crotch, etc)

Both available at

I used to suffer the discomfort of excessive underarm sweating, it would run down my sides and the insides of my arms soaking anything I wore.

I took a thin, semipermeable piece of cloth from an old t-shirt and cut it into a square, filled it with baking soda and tied it shut into a little baggy. It's the same concept as a chalk bag if there are any rock climbers or gym enthusiasts out there.

Now after I apply an antiperspirant deodorant I just pat the bag under my arms and viola!

Apple Cider Vinegar is I think one of the best options. I've tried all types of deodorants but for two weeks now, I've been using apple cider vinegar. Better if you put it in a sprayer bottle (to make it more handy). Spray on your armpit before taking a bath, let it stay for about 5 mins then take a shower. Better if you use a baby bath soap which does not have any strong scent. Take a bath as usual. After that, do not put any thing on your armpit ... observe ... you will see the difference ... we will not smell anything the whole day. It works for me, hope it will also work for you.

Zinc multivitamin is all you need for unpleasant underarm body odor. One a day and then eventually you can take once a week until you notice improvement. Try it, it works and its really inexpensive!

equal parts Baking Soda and Cornstarch mixed. Add a few drops of Essential Oil if you prefer. The baking soda neutralizes odors while the cornstarch absorbs excess moisture. (It's natural to sweat! It's also healthy)
The essential oil just gives a pleasant scent throughout the day.
Tea Tree Oil rubbed underarms works wonders! It's a natural antiseptic and once the initial strong smell wears off you're good to go!

The best age old remedy for BO is to
take 2 teaspoons of Soda Bicarb and add it to half a glass of water. Stir for 20 seconds. After bath take this water and dab it under the arms, groin area and feet. Quelle Suprise! No More Odour. Then gift the glass to your enemy.
