ive been suffering from toothaches cause by my right wisdom tooth. it never gave me problems until it broke & it has given me hell ever since ive tried all type of pills & remedies nothing worked except BC acetaminophen fast relief. Poor it directly in the hole of the tooth. The first time i tried this it made the pain worst felt like my brain was going to explode but surprisingly 20mins. later the pain was absolutely gone! the headache and earache that came along with it also stopped. ever since then that has been my cure & it works instantly now it doesnt give me the excruciating pain it did the first time. i get instant relief in a matter of 10mins. The best cure is to get it pulled seriously tooth aches can kill you & when u get it pulled make sure you take antibiotics for about 2weeks to clear the infection. If a dentist pulls your tooth while u still have a infection in your tooth your going to have major problems my friend.

Remove all debris from hole. Clean with peroxide, 6% food grade. Rinse with salty warm water. Pack with coconut oil (cold-pressed) and garlic (for infection), fresh better than garlic powder as its a powerful antibiotic. Start drinking many cups of red clover tea to clean blood (this malady 'can' actually kill you if the infection goes inward). Find student or charity dental clinic urgently and get extraction, some hospitals will do this too.

I also do not have insurance to afford work on my teeth. I have a broken tooth, more than one, but the most pain I am in is my bottom left third from back. That tooth broke off in the front of it, so I only have the back part. I tried Ibuprofen, but helped for little bit. Then tried vapor rub & that is working until I get in soon to have my tooth pulled. Thanks for helping with ideas.

What I do to relive pain, believe it or not, is I take a square if paper towel, and poor Listerine on the towel. Then I hold it in the infected spot for 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, the pain should have subsided quiet a bit. Hopefully they works!

The last 2 days I have been in absolute agony. My wisdom tooth on the bottom left has been sore on and off for years but never as bad as it is now. After reading here and examining it, I think it basically growing against the jaw bone at the back of my mouth which is in turn pushing it into the next tooth (I originally thought it was broken but not sure now). Anyway, like many I cant afford the dentist bill right now so looking for alternatives. I tried mouthwash which works for a few mins but thats it. From reading here I got the idea to try throat medicine that numbs a sore throat. I tried a lozenge called Tyrozets which has an anesthetic. Slowly bit into it with the affected tooth and let it dissolve in that area. Still a small amount of pain but about 5% of what it was. I know it wont last long either but deffo longer than the mouthwash. So far its been relieved for about 40 mins so a lot longer than the mouthwash.

First off, I have 2 autoimmune diseases - lucky me, right? The side affects of one, Sarcoidosis, is brittle teeth due to calcium loss. Of course I don't have dental insurance, and wouldn't you know on a Friday night AFTER every dentist in my time zone closes, my already cracked tooth decides to throb. And throb. and throb. To the point where I'm breaking out in a cold sweat, my heart is racing, and I'm having to remind myself to calm down. 800 mg. of Ibuprofen didn't touch the pain, so I threw my debit card at my son & asked him to go to the 24 hr. supermarket to pick up everything he can think of - oragel, chloraseptic spray, whatever - and while he's gone, I found this page. Overwhelmingly, everyone seemed to talk about garlic and clove oil. While I don't have the clove oil, I had a small jar of minced garlic in my fridge. At this point, I'll try anything - so I held it in place with my fingers on the gum of my tooth - front and back - and here it is 15 minutes later, my son is back from the grocery, and I don't even need the arsenal that he came back with. I don't know how long it's going to last, and at this point, I don't care! It's going on 11:00 p.m., and I will be happy just to be able to sleep. THANK YOU EVERYONE for your input!!! Without it, I would probably be climbing the walls by now!!!
