My husband has just started using a product called Pain Pal. It's quite a new product, all natural, and he is 90\\% pain free for several hours when he applies it. Well worth a look.
Food and overall well-being are very important in the fight against arthritis pain, however, there are other, up-and-coming methods being used to help fight the pain too. For instance, topical pain relief is on the rise, and it is one of the most effective and safest methods of fighting arthritis pain. It provides the same, usually greater, relief that specific pills do, however, there are no pills or side effects. I myself am currently a user of topical pain gels, which I easily get through my pharmacy in the midwest, A&R Pharmacy in Liberty, MO, and simply apply the gel whenever I'm in pain. I've been using them for roughly 18 months and have had more than significant results since going this route and I highly recommend it for anyone struggling with pain and/or pills. Take over the pain before it takes over your life. I hope this helps a few of you.
I have had a very ssevere rheumatoid arthritis from the age 20. I'm 41 now and very active due to my arthritis totally under control due to age old remedies of ancient Indian ayurvedic home remedies. My reemedy for arthritic pain is very simple. Add a teaspoon of turmeric powder and dried ginger powder to a cup of boiling water. Boil for about 7-10 minutes. let cool, drink every night at bedtime or first thing in morning. Both ginger and turmeric are natural and powerful pain killers. See amazing results soon.
Three black or red cherries.
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder per glass of water.
400mg.ibuprofen per day.
Gin soaked raisins for arthritis. Been using this for years. Has to be golden raisins soaked in distilled gin until the alcohol evaporates; usually 3-4 days, depending on how the dry the weather is. Then take about a spoonful a day. The recipe says eat nine raisins a day. I have two herniated disks in upper and lowe back and hardly feel any pain at all!
I had terribe arthritis in my hands. My 90 year old Granny suggested rubbing them with WD-40, put on rubber gloves, after an hour or so, washed my hands. It worked. I reapplied any time I felt the aching start. I rarely feel the ache, 5 years later
Hello I'm a 30 yr old who was totally skepical of dr oz and all. My wife watches him, and learned about a treatment.. Soak yellow (golden) raisins in gin for a couple of days. Eat 10 per day.. Simple as that. After a month or so, you should feel a difference. I did! Try it out. Please!
I have been suffering with arthritis for the last ten years. I have made it my mission to be able to live with it and be as active as possible. My doctor has been very helpful over the years and we have tried lots of options, going as far as a corticosteroid injections. The injections help for a few month but everything gets worse again after that.
As far as drugs are concerned I have had a range of anti-inflammatory drugs. They help in the short term again but have no long term benefit.
I have now been on methotrexate for two years. This is the best medication you can get from your GP. It has controlled my arthritis. In the last year I have been using a product including the serrapeptase enzyme. If you Google it there is lots of sensational claims about the product. While it has not cured me, I have defiantly got slightly better. This is not an NHS product. There are lots of suppliers on the internet. I get mine from Nutri Plus direct. They are on google. There are lots of suppliers out there so have a look around for the serrapeptase enzyme which is the key ingredient.
Apart from this I have been working on my diet. Just the basic things really. I have lost weight, cut sugar and fat right down and eating foods high in vitamin D and calcium.
I hope this helps.
jionsiello as we grow older the body dosen,t produce a natural lubricant that,s necceary, it acually diminishes. A gelatinous subtstance (of which im notsure)needs o be replaced I,ve tried several attempts at balms and lotions and have had great sucess with plain old jello/ gelatin
Its funny I read a post were someone actually recommended removing dairy...mad. Here I'll give you some real information.
Arthritis is inflammation of your body but hey most of you already knew that and your probably on google every few days searching for the best cure. Most websites will say cut all fat out... Fat is the problem. ITS ALL CRAP. The reason why most of us are suffering these problems is exactly that. For the last 100 years or so we have been transitioning for a fat based diet to a sugar based (carbs). I anit going to start a debate whats better and whats worst but heres how it goes. They make you eat heaps of carbs and sell you fish oil to make you feel better. Whats fish oil... a fat. Problem is you need heaps of fat not the minute amounts you get from a pill. Try this...lets go back to dairy...lets go back to a few eggs for breakfast... maybe tuna and avocadoes for lunch in large amounts. A steak or lamb chops for dinner with heaps of fat. Lets put oil on your salad and have full fat cheese. Lets have full fat yoghurt and full fat milk. Lets go back to eating good fatty chocolate not the 99% fat free crap. Lets eat RED MEAT with FAT... try this just for a few weeks and we will see what changes.
By the way if you were thinking of buying books that say I cured my arthritis...DON'T cause they are only telling you to have Peanut butter... another fat.
