Here's a very good tip: D-Mannose. Look it up on the net, for yourself.
Take cranberry supplements everyday if you have problems with bladder infections!
Take a double or triple dose if you feel one coming on!
Try 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 8 oz. of water. Drink plenty of water over the next 12 hours....hasn't failed me yet.
I felt a UTI coming on and then suddenly I was urinating blood. I drank 32 oz. of unsweetend cranberry juice (not diluted) with a 1/2 tsp. of baking soda in each glass on ice (through a straw). By bedtime (4 hours) later, I no longer felt the 'urge' to go and the blood was gone. The next day, I downed another 32 oz., but this time no baking soda. On the third, I had a urinalysis done and had no sign whatsoever of a UTI. All I know is... it worked!
