Hangovers are caused by dehydration brought on by the alcohol. If you drink a glass of water between beers or drinks, you will not have a hangover.
Eat bread with butter (kind of a thick layer), drink a gatorade and a red bull, and suck on some gummy candy like gummy bears or worms. This totally helps me within an hour or two I feel tremendously better.
