Liquid Chlorophyll is THEE only remedy to get rid of my vaginal odor. It's an internal deodorizer. Essentially it makes you smell great from the inside out. Drink 5 tablespoons a day and drink a glass of water afterwards. That's it. My vaginal odor was gone in one hour. You can purchase it your local health food store, vitamin store or online.
Apple Cider Vinegar is the ONLY thing that has consistently worked for me. There are a lot of factors to take into consideration as to why you might have vaginal odor, but if it is due to the most common cause (Bacterial Vaginosis), then all you have to do is either douche with a diluted solution of water + apple cider vinegar OR soak a tampon in apple cider vinegar and insert into the vagina for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
(Note: I know a lot of people are against douching these days because they say it destroys the good bacteria in the vagina and throws off the pH balance, and that is true of commercial douches which contain a lot of chemicals and fragrances. But a pure douche of water and apple cider vinegar is perfectly safe. Apple cider vinegar has a very similar pH that a healthy vagina and intestinal tract has, so instead of destroying that good bacteria, it just destroys the bad and replenishes the good.)
Also - the purest and most organic form of apple cider vinegar you can get is best, but if all you can find is the typical grocery store brand, that is fine too. Just make sure you don't use WHITE vinegar - only Apple Cider.
There is a product I recommend to patients call Femanol. It does not require a prescription and can be found online.
Some of the info here is good but allot is just wrong. DO NOT douche, do wear cotton underwear but sleep without underwear. Avoid sweets as much as possible. DO NOT use scented soap, rinses, washes or sprays, as some hear have suggested, they just cover up the odor and do nothing to eliminate the cause.
draw a tub of hot H20. squeeze summers eve feminine wash, then some of your favorite bubble bath(fragrance ok) to make bubbles. pour one cup of regular white distilled vinegar and 1/2 cup cool mint listerine mouth wash. and soak that 'thang'! bathe as usual. works everytime! ;)
Cranberry, grapefruit, applecider pills sold at GNC will remove vagina odor.
I have read most of these posts and you have to learn your body personally. Having a lot of different health issues and doctors not being able to pinpoint causes and treatments, I have researched things my self. everyone is saying eat yogurt yogurt yogurt. caution! although yogurt does contain the necessary living bacteria to help balance this condition, eating too much sugar filled flavored yogurt can cause reoccuring yeast infections. also there are differnt probiotics. research to ensure that the yogurt you are eating contains lactobacilli. I have not found sugar free plain yogurt brands in the united states. if you choose to eat yogurt on a daily basis, verify it contains low sugar. The lowest grams of sugar i have found in stores is 3 grams. if anyone knows of a sugar free brand in the states, let me know! Eating things such as mushrooms and garlic cause odor to seep through your thin vaginal walls. The best advice is to eat fresh fruits and vegetables and drink your daily amount of water. If you are not a fan of uncooked, fresh vegetables, slightly cook them to ensure the nutrients remains. eggplant is a vegetable that retains its nutritional value whether raw or fully cooked. water is need in every cell of your body to function. water is an excellent cleanser. the number of ounces you drink per day should be equal to half your body weight...Using a probiotic as a suppositry is interesting. I dont know much about that but i will be looking into it. soaking in tea tree oil and vinegar baths consecutively for 3 to 5 days once a month helps the average person. i personally take them 3 to 5 days before and after my cycle. If you take birth control that prevents you from having menstrual bleeding monthly, that is not healthy. menstrual bleeding is a natural cleanser, just like urination and bowel movements, and can help prevent this problem also. learn your body and your daily food intake and excretions. then trial and error. happy journeys!!!!!!
I have started to have really nasty vaginal odor for the past three or four years. I am a virgin, so I know it had nothing to do with sex. Doctor said it wasn't because of any type of infection, that I would just have to live with it. That wasn't an option for me. After being online for over an hour, I found this:
5 or 6 drops of pure tea tree oil, and a half cup of Epsom salt. Pour it into a bath, and have a nice soak. Don't rub it in or anything, just let it sit for about thirty minutes. Then, you can wash up regularly (no vaginal soap for this day) and continue about your day. After a few baths, the odor is gone! I prefer to have a soak with JUST the tea tree oil about once or twice a month, to keep clean. But, the Epsom salt makes your skin soft and relaxes you, too!
Vaginal odor is caused by too much 'bad' bacteria replacing the 'good' bacteria in your vagina that's needed to balance it out. This is a little-known remedy that takes just ONE NIGHT. Go to your health food store or a pharmacy that carries refrigerated probiotic pills. If they have one specifically for women, such as 'femdophilus,' choose that one. Instead of taking the pill orally, though, insert one like a suppository while you're sleeping. You don't need to insert it very deeply. You will need to wear a pad. All symptoms should be gone in the morning. Do NOT use douches, they can make matters worse. You're dealing with a very delicate area, you just need to re-balance it. Keep some of the pills on hand for when your immune system is down, which is when you'll be likely to get a re-occurence. You should be clear for months with just or two treatments, though! You're welcome!

Unfortunately, bacterial vaginosis is not something that can be curred (yet) but is a reoccuring infection that has no known cause, only triggers. I have been dealing with this for the last five years (same sex partner for 14 years) and it can be very frustrating. I suggest you find out what your triggers are and try to avoid or minimize them i.e. douching, soaps, lotions, washing powder, etc. Go to your gyn and get treated for BV then follow a healthy regimine which includes eating lots of yogurt and drinking plenty of water to cleanse your system. Good luck ladies!!!
