182 Home Remedies for Warts

Kat.

since 5th grade I have had a total of 120 warts total on my hands and feet. I tried everything I could possibly buy to help them and I tried the duct tape and NOTHING worked. I finally went to the doctor and they put bettle juice on my hands as a 12 year old it was painful but it wasn't that bad. No this isn't t a home remedy but it helped after around three to four treatments they were gone by 6th grade.

After 2 years and almost $2000 in dermatologist bills & painful freezing, I read on this site - clear nail polish and duck tape. Every day - 3 weeks it was gone. That was a year ago, I recently got one back in a different place - maybe from the airport (wear socks at security) but using the same remedy and it is going away. That is all it takes, nail polish and duck tape or waterproof medical tape. The wart will rise to the top after about 2 weeks and then pull out from the tape. It will then start to shrink....stay vigilant.....

C Herb
My husband used this on a wart on his hand after the standard wart remover had no effect. The C Herb literally made the wart pop out of his hand. It was the size of a Pea and left a small crater that has completely healed now. There was some pain involved but the process was extremely quick. He applied the C Herb for 2 days and the rest was a waiting period. I think after a week or so the wart was ready to pop out. It is amazing, I'm about to try it on a wart on my knee. I have a bunch of warts but can only treat one at a time, per the C herb directions. Look it up, it costs a lot but you use such a small amount of it that it will last a long time.

Duct Tape
I had success using the duct tape method on a wart on my toe. The wart was on the bottom of my toe and was so large it was changing the shape of my toe! I just kept applying the duct tape as it started to come loose, sometimes using an acid remover before applying the duct tape. This method removed the wart and all of the calloused skin around it. My toe looks completely normal again and it's been a year!

I had a wart the size of a one pence piece on my cheek which turned me into recluse because of the embarrassment. It has just dropped off today. I used 100% Tea Tree oil three times a day and covered it at night with a sterile dressing. It has taken ten months to kill the virus. A bit painful at times, really painful now it's off, it has left a raw area. I want to say to anyone suffering warts that get no help from doctors, to try this. I was sceptical but tried it and persevered and it has done the trick.YAHOO !!!!!

I wish I could put this on every web page there is out there!!! We have a family doctor at our local clinic that we see on a regular basis. one day I called the pharmacist and asked if if there was ANYTHING out there to try for my son's Planter's warts! because he DID try EVERYTHING out there! and at his age (23) your self esteem really can undo you! SO he told me about this Doctor at our local Clinic which gave out a prescription, The ONLY Doctor there that gives out this medication for wart's. The reason he is the only one to prescribe this medication for the wart's, and no other doctor will is because the main reason this prescription is given out USUALLY is for stomach problems!!! But he discovered that every patient which took this medication for their stomach problems and had wart's, those wart 'ALL' of them went away!!!!! So he started to prescribe them for wart's as well.
So we went to see this Doctor and we told him about my son's Planters wart's including the one's on his finger's, and he prescribed this medication for a year, it is called 'TAGAMET' each tabled has 600mg, OR the derivative is called 'CIMETIDINE' 600mg for each tablet taken one in the morning and one in the evening with something to eat!So my son started to take them! he hates pills and believe me, he did the apple cider vinegar for about 6 month's and there was incredible improvement, but they were still there, after starting on the TAGAMET, we have started to see an improvement after one week, the ones on his hand's are GONE, and the planters wart's on his feet are also almost completely gone!!! they are simply dissolving, as though the body is turning the clock back! IT WORKS!!!!!!!!! As the Doctor said, wart are a symptom NOT the cause, so in order to get rid of the symptom one has to treat the cause, which is a virus in the system!and TAGAMET does that!!!!!, if you take other medication but your doctor says it's safe to take! IT WILL WORK!!!! it's like the cure has been there ALL ALONG, yet nobody clicked on it! PLEASE POST BACK if you try it and they are gone!!! you could help me spread the work OK? your ally in Battle against wart's

(Sorry for all the typos in my previous post...)I been having multiple warts growing on the bottom of one of my toes for four months now and the pain has been extremely unbearable. I tried a few .vitamins and different brands of sylic acid and those treatments made my warts worse. Upon using the sylic acid my skin became very tender and painful thus creating a thick layer of hard skin. I regret ever trying this because it was a waste of time for me. I read someones home remedy on here about using 100 % vitamin E oil and so I kicked it up a notch by buying the the Vitamin E oil 15,000 IU from the beauty supply store along with Palmer's cocoa butter formula from Walmart with more vitamin E (not the lotion the thick Vaseline oil type in a round container) I would take a shower clean it good and dry it thoroughly....then apply the Vitamin E with a cotton swab and a thick amount of the Palmers cocoa butter....before putting on my socks and shoes. There is no need to cover because the ointments are enough suffocation but be sure to use thick white socks 100% cotton only. The treatment is natural and works if you apply it on a daily basis. Using colored or thin sick is not good it will only irritate it. ( trust me) after days of applications the wart should start to turn black meaning its starting to go away. No need to cover and give your feet some air time too during the nights after a long day of work or school.... This really helps so try it out and be patient.

Hi everyone, I have read and tried many remedies for warts on my face, palm, genetal warts etc. I will tell you what worked for me. In MY opinion Apple Cider Vinegar is the BEST medicine for warts. I will tell you how I used it. Out of ALL the things I tried, this is the ONLY thing that worked for me. Now I'm 100% warts free. This is how I used it.

Things you will need: Bragg apple cider vinegar, paper towel, q-tip, plastic wrap or tape(to keep the vinegar from getting on your clothing)

Do this at night before going to sleep. Pour some apple cider vinegar on to a plate. Take a piece of paper towel and soak it in vinegar. Put the paper towel around the effected area and wrap it with the plastic wrap or the tape. This will keep the the vinegar from drying or getting on your bed or sheets. For face, wash the face with vinegar mixed water (1 to 8 vinegar to water ratio) after washing take a q-tip and soak it on the vinegar and dab it on all the warts. Don't use the same q-tip for all the warts. Try to use one per wart. Since you have 2 ends in a q-tip, you can use a q-tip for 2 warts. You can also use a piece of vinegar soaked cotton on face warts and tape it with a plastic tape. You WILL have a little discomfort and burning feeling. If you cannot bare it, remove it and redo the process. Follow this process every night your warts will start to fall off. You might even see new warts coming out. Don't worry about it. Use the same process on the new warts too. If you cannot bare the pain, do it every other day. But, I recommend doing it every night. Good luck to every one.

Triumphant WartRemover

I had a plantar wart for about 3-4years that then spread into 7 on the bottom of my left foot. I had done the over-the-counter freezing casually before and they wouldn't go away. I finally decided enough was enough and I wasn't going to stop until they were gone for good! I was also determined to do this at home since I had no insurance. This is what I did....
--Bought the Dr. Scholl's Dual Action Freeze Away Kit from Target (freezing stuff plus the salicylic acid liquid)
--Also bought the Clear Away Plantar Warts little salicylic acid 'stickers' (they come with 24)

At NIGHT before bed
--Soaked my feet with hot hot water and then pumiced them vigorously. I used same pumice for only these bits of my feet.

--Froze them with the Dr. Scholl's kit but I ignored their instructions for the maximum number of seconds to hold the applicator to the wart. Says to do I think 40 seconds max, but I held them there until I couldn't stand it any longer and it went numb, maybe 90 seconds.

--Then instead of applying the Salicylic Acid that it comes with, at NIGHT I applied the Plantar Wart little 'stickers' and wore them while I slept, covered by the little cushions that are provided. I found that the stickers wouldn't stay on for me during the day with walking around whether wearing closed toe shoes with socks or sandals.
**tip--one pack only comes with 24 stickers so to maximize them I would use tiny little scissors to cut them in half for the smaller warts.

--In the morning I would take off the little stickers, pick off any skin that was softened or raised with nippers, THEN APPLY THE LIQUID SALICYLIC acid that came with the freezing kit. This liquid is thick and dries kinda like super glue. Works for me during daytime bc it would just stay on the skin. This way Salicylic Acid was always covering the warts 24 hrs/day.

--Then at night I would scrub off the acid in the shower (with the pumice that only touches that part of the foot!) or cut off the top layers with cuticle nippers (you really have to cut AGGRESSIVELY) and reapply the little stickers before bed.

The constant contact with Acid plus the repeated cutting/nipping/scrubbing to expose fresh skin is what worked. I did the above process for about ONE WEEK until I ran out of the Plantar Wart stickers, then continued with just the little bottle of Salicylic Acid from the dual kit, morning and night for another 2 weeks. The warts gradually and finally went away and after a few more weeks the skin finally healed. It has been almost 2 years now that I've been wart-free. Recently I think a new tiny one in the same area has begun because of the telltale little 'crater' but I'm not that worried because I know now how to get rid of it and to get it early! This method was tedious and a pain but really, after years of those annoying bumps, a couple weeks of diligence is totally worth it. Be tenacious, it's the only way!

Oh, also wanted to add that I'm pre-diabetic and was worried about the foot skin healing. Luckily it did for me, but just be careful and beware.
Other tips--
--After showering, I would spray the tub floor with a bleach cleaner to try to keep from spreading the virus to others.
--I wore slippers or socks everywhere else inside the house.
--I also either cleaned (hot water wash with bleach) or threw out any shoes (mostly flip flops--I'm in California) to avoid reinfecting myself.

Happy to report that I was wart

I got foot warts 10 years ago, and have suffered with it for many years.
I tried apple cider vinegar and tea tree oil, didn't help. But tea tree oil amazinglly cured my husband's wart on toe.

My warts are eventually gone. I got encouraged by this site, so I go back again. Two years ago I resorted to podiatrist. The warts was a dime size, but hurting. The podiatirst scalped the stiff white skin away, cut deep around wart root (not always, but miserable hurting) then put medicine on to blister the wart. Every three weeks a treatment, the warts got small after half year. But hurting of wart still came back in a month after treatment. I could see a lot of small black dots on it. My doctor always said it was fine, the treatment was lag. Then one year passed away. This year I asked my primary physician recommend me some podiatrists. I picked one old specialist with excellent patient reviw on website. I hated I didn't find him earlier. Basically he used same way to blister the wart root, but he was much more professional and doctoral. He has always avoided hurting and bleeding. I could see red skin after several months treatment, two treatments a month, and small black dots got fewer. But a lot of dots occured again in the summer when I wore my flat stiff sandal. I more frequently visited my specialist. He urged me use conduct tape. So I started to use conduct tape and prescription Virasal between the treatments. Now warts are gone, all the thread are naturally connected.

Protocol Summary:
1. Pray to God, and if possible, you'd better spread gospel around. Because

Ephesians 6:15 And having shod your feet with the firm foundation of gospel of peace.

That should protect your feet.

2. Find a right podiatrist
3. Wear soft shoes
4. Cover your warts using Virasal and exactly size of conduct tape all time until you feel hurting

I remember someone said don't open it, don't let monster out.

Praise Lord! God bless you!
