I just take equel parts of cinnimon and tumeric...mix together and wet finger and put on sore or infected tooth.
Not only takes pain and infection away but leaves you breath fresh.
Repeat as necessary till pain is gone.
Works for me.

my BEST remedy so far has got to be clove oil, or natural cloves. you can find clove oil at a pharmacy or even a local supermarket, and the same with natural cloves. my doctor also suggested this to me. i used the natural cloves as i didnt have the oil, i placed the clove between the tooth and the bottem and pressed on it for a while, you will feel a bit of numbness and a stingy feeling, but the pain was gone in minutes! Im smiling again.

I had a horrible tooth ache yesterday. I got online and read some home remedies. I took some minced garlic added some warm salt water. Mixed it up. Put a cotton ball in to soak up the liquid. Put the cotton ball against the tooth with some of the minced garlic on it. Left it on for about 5 minutes. The pain went away and hasn't came back. Tooth aches are the worst. Hope this helps someone.

Garlic is the solution. Crushed a whole garlic and added table salt and then placed on my raging tooth ache and then pain free within minutes. Thanks to all the remedies people have added but this one has done the trick. By the way it is 4am in the morning and I took paracetamol, ibrufin and Voltarin with a heated heat bag placed on my cheak, but eventually I tried garlic and I can now go to bed pain free.

Raw organic Coconut oil will not give immediate relief but it will stop the cause of the tooth ache within about 2-12 hours. Pain will be gone also and if you rinse with it at least every few days the pain won't come back. This even treats the worst cavities that require root canal or extraction. you can use other topical pain reliever but wait a few minutes after to swish mouth with 1-2 teaspoons of coco oil, swish for about 25 seconds making sure to rub around gums and get in decayed tooth then spit oil. It's safe to swallow coco oil, in fact it's very good for you and antibiotic but the swishing action will also pull various toxins from you and shouldn't be swallowed. Don't eat or drink after just to make sure it sits a good bit. You can apply several times a day as coconut oil is perfectly safe unless you are allergic to it. If you are swallowing please research first because it has many medicinal uses and may lower blood pressure. God bless.

For a tooth ache, put a piece of ginger on the tooth, holding it loosely until the pain resides.

I recently got a few fillings in my top left teeth after a few days i realised it might be infected so i got prescribed amoxicillan for 1 week. However i was always sinking the cold water bacm into my mouth wich wasnt the best idea as it made it 10x worse apparentlly bacteria in your tooth love the cold water which makes the infection/nerves worse. However i read that trying to stop for 10mins at a time helped alot . It was sore at first but eventually it starts to subside . Again not much of a cure for all treatments but just incase you have resorted to drinking cold water every few seconds like i did you should try this

I've been experiencing some unbelievably bad toothache for the past few days. this afternoon I decided to research about toothache 'reliefs' and came across this site.. I read thru most of the remedies, and found some of them to be quite shocking.. I tried the bread one and it worked :) but only for a few mins :( I then tried the sensodyne remedy and this also worked for a few minutes.. I then tried the salt remedy, in which I used coarse salt and OMW it has worked wonders.. I just hope I'm not speaking too soon and hope it reliefs the pain for a few hours at least :).. Thanks to everyone for all their remedies :) and good luck to everyone else suffering with bad toothache..
