All I did was use my normal whitening toothpaste and sprinkle a pinch of baking soda on top of it. Add one more pinch when the first pinch runs out and brush normally.

WARNING: THIS TASTES NASTY.

I just did this every other day for a week and a half to get my wanted results.

I read all the posts and comments on here about teeth whitening. I'm very skeptical about home remedies anyway... So after reading them this is what I tried--
I mixed all of these things together in a small container: olive oil, peroxide, Crest toothpaste+deep clean whitening, baking soda and a dab of warm water. I mixed them into a paste.
First I brushed my teeth with toothpaste alone & rinsed.
Then tried applying the mixture with a Q-tip, but that didn't work out so well, so then I put the paste into a mouth guard but I felt like I kept needing to spit, so on my last attempt I just dipped my toothbrush into the mixture and brushed it evenly on my top and bottom teeth. Let that sit for about 5 minutes, then rinsed with water but my mouth still felt gritty and the taste was bad. I then rinsed with alcohol free Act anti-cavity fluoride mouth wash. It took away the bad taste and grit. I can see a small difference, but it's not a drastic one. I'm sure that with more than one use I will start to see a big difference. Only one problem, my tounge and lips feel raw.

FOR IMMEDIATE RESULTS.
Warning: this tastes awful, but it works so well it's worth it.
1) take a cotton ball or pad ad dip it in olive oil. rub it on the front surface of your teeth for a few minutes. this takes away the surface stains,
2) mix peroxide, baking soda, and lemon juice in a small cup. it will fizz. swish in your mouth for 5 minutes, DO NOT RINSE.
6) dip toothbrush in apple cider vinegar (white vinegar works as well, but not as much) and brush teeth. it will tingle and this part is the worst because of tha taste of the lemon mixture. when you are done, swish with the vinegar until you cannot stand the taste.
7) brush teeth regularly with whitening toothpaste.
8) swish olive oil in your mouth for 20 minutes. it feels nasty and taste bad but you get used to it. I usually do this part while I'm showering.
9) brush teeth again or rinse with mouthwash to get the taste and texture out of your mouth,
yes, it tastes like torture, but if you can handle it. it works wonders.

I think oil pulling using sesame oil is definitely one of the best methods..at least that's what best worked out in my case.
For those of you who don't know how exactly this is done, here goes the explanation.
-Take a tablespoon or two (don't fill your entire mouth!!!) of sesame oil in your mouth.
-Gargle it thoroughly in the entire mouth for 15-20 minutes. Make sure you cover every part of your mouth as you 'swish and swirl' the oil.
-Don't just keep the oil without gargling. Keep gargling throughout the process(you may rest for a few seconds in case your jaws become tired, though!). But make sure you don't let the oil go down your throat.
-As you gargle, you will gradually notice that the oil becomes thinner and less viscous.
-After gargling, spit it out into the flush, and if you have done it right, you will notice that the oil has become least viscous and is whitish in color.
-Wash your mouth thoroughly well with warm (NOT HOT) water.

Do this every day and you will definitely notice the difference! But what you need most for this method is CONSISTENCY AND PATIENCE.
In addition to getting whiter teeth, this method also has many health benefits, if done in the right way. The best time to do it is early in the morning, after brushing, when you're still on an empty stomach. If done so, it pulls out much of the toxins in your body. For those of who who cannot spare extra time for this in the morning, you could just do it while you shower. This is undoubtedly one of the most effective, safest and inexpensive methods of teeth whitening!!

This worked really well for me, but it may take a couple days for you to see results.

Take a banana peel (yes a banana peel) cut a small piece of it and rub the white inside part on your teeth. Leave it on for no more than 15 minutes. The minerals inside the peel such as potassium and bromine will naturally whiten your teeth without chemical damage (not proven).
