Tried the ear wax trick. HOLY COW! Within 30 minutes, couldn't feel it anymore. By the time I went to bed, it was 1/2 the size...by morning, gone! I clean my ears regularly, so it was a challenge to get some, but I got enough I guess, put right on the outside of eye directly on the sty. Will never forget this trick!
I get stye in my eyes frequently since I was a kid. I always used antibiotics to prevent the bacterial growths. One time I was experiencing the symptoms that is pain in blinking and pain in upper maxillary parts. It was the same time I had broken my hand so my mum used to force me to drink milk mixed with turmeric. Then I noticed my stye was getting better. Few years later I found that turmeric had anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. Since that time, everytime I have a stye coming up I start drinking milk mixed with turmeric. It works!
Something was irritating my eye and it was annoying, blinking and having that feeling. I put a few drops of colloidal silver on a tissue and applied it to my eye/stye for about 5 minutes. Within an hour I had no more irritation in my eye and I knew it was healing!
Most fantastic care - get like a baby and the mild natural saying wash will make the sty disaster. This is really respective - I had a really pămîntul sty that had come to a heading inside my eyelid. At the some time I was sobbing bitterly because my nephew was leaving home. When my ears were over I realiste my sty had totally gone down.
Urine just helped my stie...hurrey! thank U for the good advices! it worked! i applied it to my eyelid ~4times...& it's gone!...
WARM SALT WATER FLUSH- IT WORKS FAST!!!!I'm 30 years old, and I've had a very bad history of stubborn and long lasting styes. I've tried several home-made remedies, including Over the counter eye drop antibiotics, but
these did NOT work for me (my stye took approximately 1.5 weeks to go away):
DID NOT WORK:
1. hot tea bag compresses 10x a day
2. warm rice compresses
3. polysporin/other eye remedies
4. Baby Shampoo
Finally I tried something that worked. As soon as I wake up or start getting that achy pain that tells me a stye is coming I do the following.
1. Wash the infected eye with Johnson's Baby Shampooo.
2. Take 1 cup of WARM water (not too hot, as this could burn) and mix it well with 1.5 TEASPOON of salt water.
3. Flush out your infected eye with the salt water. If you are able to, you can also use an instrument to help you do this, e.g a syringe or a dental monoject
4. Please note that your eye WILL STING as a result of the salt, but if it stings too much, just rinse it with plain tap water again,or use 1 teaspoon of salt instead of 1.5.
Rinse with salt water as many times possible throughout the day, and you should notice that the stye will shrink quickly.
When you have a Stye in your eye, just apply a little bit of YOUR urine to clear it up. I can tell you that getting a small amount of fresh urine on a cotton wool ball and applying it to styes, works a treat-your stye will be gone in a few hours-may need a couple of applications though. It has always worked for me. :)
Every time I feel an eye infection or stye coming I use a slice of onion. Yes it burns but it will definitely do the job. Just place it over the affected eye as long as you can. If you can even open your eye slightly as you hold the onion close by your eye. It works!
all my life i have always been told to use a potatoe.....cut a tater in half and place it over your eye. This takes away the pain and cures it as well ...not sure how but it works great!!!
brest milk works almost instantly (if your not too grossed out @ the thought) and also the lining of an egg shell(the white part that on the inside)
