Plans to quit smoking??...try gargling with really helps

To quit smoking, the most important thing is to switch from whatever cigarette you're smoking to American Spirits. In this way, your body's addiction to all the chemicals and other additives in conventional cigarettes will have a chance to cease before the real quit. If you can afford it, or if your insurance covers it, get deep myo-fascial release massage at least once a week, and during that time, just quit. Try the 10 day master cleanse (you won't want to smoke with it) but just for a day or two. Eat ginger chew candies. After a week of not smoking, reward yourself with some Dr. Haushka facial care products to supplement the skin rejuvenation you're experiencing.

Buy some rolling tobacco (native american spirit is best, but anything natural you can get your hands on should work. If you must buy bugler so be it--just make sure its loose tobacco!). If you are in the US where the quality sucks, leave a bit of carrot peel in the bag over night to moisten it up so it tastes and smokes better.

Roll your cigarettes for a week or two, you can buy filters and even little machines to do it if your fingers cannot. Its definitely not as pleasurable, but you still get to smoke and its quite a bit healthier. You will find that with time that you no longer crave a real cigarette.

As long as you are not getting drunk every night, with some discipline, time and perhaps some tea or toothpick substitutes, you should have no trouble at all kicking the habit. The great part is you still get to smoke while you are quitting.

Once you've succeeded, even when you're suddenly stressed out and feel like you NEED a cigarette, just roll one! It won't get you hooked again like a real one, in fact the real ones will just taste gross.

My Grandma had a problem with smoking.
She started drinking chamonile tea when she felt a craving coming on. Soon with the 30 Day Elimination Process, to break a habit the tea help breack the habit and clean out her system of the harmful toxins found in ciggarettes.

This is how I managed to quit smoking after I have been a smoker for about 9 years and tried everything to quit with no success.

I had tried numerous times to quit smoking with the patches but that failed. So what did I do? I asked my mother to buy me the patches because I knew that if someone else I care about is spending their hard earned money on me, it made me feel that i owe it to them to take the patches seriously. My ONLY addiction is cigarettes. I went ahead and bought myself a hookah. The first 3 days that I quit smoking (by having a patch on) I had one hookah in the evening. After 3 days I didn't even need the hookah anymore. The good thing about the hookah is that it's a pain in the neck to set up and plus I am too lazy for it. If you can get through the first 3 days it will ONLY get easier. I am now over 5 weeks without smoking and I am NOT even using the patch anymore.

Another method that you can use to try and quit smoking is you can go and buy yourself an Electronic Cigarette. I quit for 9 days when I had the electronic cigarette. You can youtube search 'electronic cigarettes' to learn and watch how electronic cigarettes work, or you can google search electronic cigarettes.

I have been a smoker for 9 yrs and I ALWAYS had a cigarette when I was on the phone. I wasn't just addicted to the nicotine in the cigarette but I was ALSO sooo used to holding a cigarette when I was on the phone. It was GREAT using the electronic cigarette, but I wanted to break having to constantly have something in my hand. Now when I talk on the phone, I wave my hands all over the place.

Also avoid all smokers and all places that you feel you usually need a cigarette most. When you feel you have more self control and are ready to hang out with others, do so. If a sudden urge for a cigarette kicks in, then encourage yourself why you don't need that cigarette and the benefits of NOT having one. You can tell yourself that you came that far without one why go back to it. You can tell yourself that you want a healthy child. You can tell yourself that it's costing you a lot of money that can be spent on more important and wiser things.

I hope that my info helps to save someone elses life. (hopefully yours) :)

Mix 8oz. of Orange Juice with One Teaspoon of Cream of Tartar, Drink every night before you go to sleep. My Dad has gone from 2packs a day to now only 1 or 2 a day! He's Tried patches and pills but this is the only think that has worked for him.

This one works almost every time(almost)for menthol smokers.
About half the companies use Mentholated Filters a filter off a cigarette.
2.leave it between teeth and 'smoke' as if it is a full cigarette(the filter).
3.If you get frustrated(a craving) bite down on it.
4. Do this for about one week.

I started smoking when I was 13. I am now 47 shy of 2 months being 48. I used cigarettes more or less for my nerves not habit. I have tried to quit a few times in my life with no success, until one day I ended up in the ER with food poisioning, or so I thought. I found out I had pneumonia. Strange thing, I didnt cough, run a fever, or feel sick other than my stomach. I had full blown pneumonia. I sat in my bed afraid to fall asleep because I was afraid I would not wake back up. I couldnt breath. Oh, I was trying to, and I had to not panic and take little breaths. I got thru the night and the next day, fluid was drawn off my lungs. I could breath again. Doctor says I have some copd. It wont get worse as long as I quit smoking. I did quit. If you want to know what its like. One night when you are watching tv, breath only thru a straw, and your nose, you can remove the straw when you cant take it no more and remember when it gets that bad from smoking, you cant make it better. Its like drowning above water. I am fortunate. God gave me the strength to quit. I still have my days, but I have listed some things that have helped me.
I gently chew on whole cloves. chew on a straw. I keep jelly beans and spice drops around. Almonds and nuts are good too as well as raisins. I keep something to drink at all times around me. I make sure its healthy and not real fattening. Its only been 2 months for me, but already I can breath better, my sense of smell is better (cigs stink!!!!), and I can taste better too. I still have a long way to go, it was my choice and I will continue to stay smoke free and I pray that all who read this will be inspired to quit, and maybe find something here that can help you on your journey to quitting, and I pray that God will you strength to quit.

I tried to quit smoking by every method I'd known. what finally worked for me was the book 'The Easy Way to Quit Smoking' by Allen Carr (I think that's the spelling). Anyway, I had no withdrawals, and it took, believe it or not, no willpower on my part. This man saved my life, I think. The success rates for readers of this book are roughly 51%, compared to the measly 5-8% of other methods. I'm glad I found that book. I give it to my friends and coworkers, now, and several of them have successfully quit, as well.

Now this works, or so I've heard. Get accupuncture to you're ears, and the hand you smoke in and the want to smoke will dissapear.
