Fibromyalgia…I have lived with for over 30 years. I have learned how to keep it symptom free. I thought it cured until I stopped doing these things. The most important thing is arobic exersice. Keep the heart rate up for at least 30 min (everyday would be great) I average 5 times a week. Walking is a good way to start. I learned that the worse I felt, the more I needed to walk.
Malic Acid (also called Magenesium Malate) at least 2400 mg two times every day. If you get uncomfortably loose stools cut back a little on the dose.
Optional but relieves pain better than all else for me Liquid Lecithin (It is a thick yellow-brownish substance). Rubbed on the skin at the site of pain it works wonders. It never stained any clothing and washes out easily.

I use Guaifenesin (which is found in Mucinex) and have found that it works well. There are other tricks I have done - adding 1/2 cup baking soda and 1 cup of epsom salts to a warm bath at night helps. I am also on a meat/fruit/vegetable diet. No milk, wheat, etc. These have helped me. I use to be on Lyrica - didn't help. Cymbalta - didn't work at all.
