I had heard three hours and the reason for three instead of four is to let you not be too hungry to sleep and also to have the benefits for the four hour plan=weight loss by morning. Also, when awake in the morning drink at least 8 onces of water the 'no water' idea is crap(other person no you but good idea with the no food thing at night just make it 3 not 4).
