But the main remedy I have found with eating is to count your calories with a note pad or something of the such. This will keep you from over intaking food. Also, this does not work on every one. But Eating a hand full of nuts or a cup of yogurt with a spoon of granola in between each meal can help speed your metabolism. List of Healthy nuts.
