6 Comments for the Urinary Tract and Bladder Home Remedy

I suffered from chronic UTI's for several years and always took antibiotics. I was prescribed Bactrim so much that my body grew resistant. I asked my grandmother about natural remedies and she told me to take the silky hair off a fresh corn and boil it. I did this several times a day and it worked! Any time I begin to feel a tingling sensation I boil some corn hair and I don't get a UTI! It sounds crazy but it worked for me.

You just boil the corn silk? That's it? You don't drink it, pour it on yourself, soak in it, whatever?

you boil about a tbs of cornsilk to a cup of water. try to drink the tea while it's warm. drink it at least 3 times a day. i was raised on this tea and it always seemed to do the trick for uti's. not much money for doctors back then.

Frequent use of antibiotics had made me resistant to many of them. It was getting difficult to mange my episodes of fever due to recurrent UTI. After consulting my doctor I started natural therapy kits to help increase my immunity and fight infections. The kit (Biogetica) I used was a combination of auyrveda, homeopathy and herbs. Not only did they relieve my symptoms of itching, burning, pain in the flanks and frequent urination but also reduced the recurrence. My general health improved too!

this does work an asian gp told me to boil the corn silk and drink the strained actually tastes pleasant have also used it for my kids.

Anti biotics causes uti for me

The yummiest remedy I found for UTI...
Take some granny smith apples pieces skinned... Take some white vinegar and add some salt for taste.. Use it as a dip for the apple slices and eat them.. Trust me it's heavenly taste and it works.. You can drink the left over vinegar after eating the apple.. If you don't feel the magic in an hour, I ll take the blame :-) Have a healthy
