For those of you who believe our emotions play a part in getting recurring yeast infections you may find this interesting.

The probable emotional cause for a yeast infection is, denying your own needs, not supporting yourself, feeling very scattered, lots of frustration, and anger, demanding and untrusting relationships, great takers, stagnating beliefs, refusal to release the past, or letting the past rule today.

New thought Pattern or Affirmation: 'I now choose to support myself in loving and joyous ways. I give myself permission to be all that I can be, and I deserve the very best in life. I love and appreciate myself and others. I live in the present moment, joyous and free!'

I am 18 years old and have been raised with this way of thinking... It sounds a little obscure but it truly does work :)... It is said that a yeast infection is caused by feeling scattered. Built up frustration and anger. Demanding and untruthful relationships. It has worked for me and I hope it works for you. As woman we are good at solving problems, I hope this will help you to do just that :) **

im in my thirties and have had recurring yeast and urinary tract infections for nearly a decade. multiple doctors, gynos, and a urologist couldnt help or find anything physically wrong. (although they sure were always quick to prescribe antibiotics to get me out the door and on my way)

i have tried many of the home remedies, most that treat the symptoms, not the cause. it wasnt until i saw an osteopath who in addition to treating me, made me confront the emotional trauma i had regarding sex and relationships i was largely ignoring. Along with my recommended supplements, i was given a similar poem to read to myself every night. i scoffed at it then, and it still seems cheesy to me at times. but the fact is, it helped. i am finally im on the road to fewer and fewer infections, and for the first time in years i have hope.

so you can chuckle if youd like, but dont underestimate the power your mind has on your physical well being.
