Wow amazing...the thing is I do all of those things (not the skateboarding, I jog 10 miles everyday except saturday) and yet I still suffer and have red itchy blotches all over my body, so does my daughter and so does my father

I find that during a flare-up any kind of activity that causes friction or chafing will aggravate the flare-up. My guess is this person really doesn't have the hardcore version of this blood disease. This is another healthy person who seems to think the root of all disease is obesity.

Actually, I suffer from eczema on my hands (and when it's really bad other areas) and the ONLY thing that has helped me has been to get out of my house and spend the day outdoors and in the sun. I notice that the more active I am, and the more time I spend outdoors, the less I have flare ups.

Exposure to the sun actually causes eczema flare ups in my case. I am a VERY clean person, although that has nothing to do with eczema. And it's ridiculous to think that watching t.v. or being on the computer less will help cure your eczema.

If I sweat too much, it flares up.

:)

Im not being rude in any way, however, all these things would be the WORST IDEA EVER if your having a Eczema flare up. Clearly you've never had one of you would know getting hot or sweaty makes you miserable and the eczema will spread and become redder and more raised. DO NOT DO ANYTHING THAT MAY MAKE YOU SWEATY OR VERY HOT DURING A FLARE UP! Trust me I have had eczema for 10 years. And also contrary to many beliefs exercise isnt a miracle cure!
