Red raspberry leaf, Nettleleaf, Red clover leaf and blossoms, Dandelion root or leaf, Alfalfa, Oatstraw. Add pepprmint for flavor if you like. Make a infusion by adding a handful of all the herbs mixed into a large mason jar filled with boiled water, throw in the handful of herb and let steep for at least 20 minutes to one hour, then drink throughout your day. You can also do a Sun tea. Just let your jar sit outside in direct sun all day.
Detoxify your liver: Fresh squeezed Lemon juice and spring or filtered water every AM and throughout the day if you like.
Nausea: ginger tea, ginger sweets, mint tea- Homeoathic remedies: consult with me: Nux vomica, Pulsatilla, Sepia, Ippecacuana, petroleum, Tabacum
Heartburn: Slippery Elm lozenges, chew raw almonds, raw papaya, papaya enzymes or enzymes with meals. Fresh ginger tea,ginger sweets. Kefir or raw sauerkraut to aid digestion. See the book Nourishing Traditions By Sally Fallon for recipes to make kefir and sauerkraut. An excellent book.

topically on sore area. For nerve pain: St Johns Wort tincture taken orally, 1/2 dropper every few hours. Or homeopathic Hypericum 6 or 30c. taken orally, 2-3 x aday. Traumeel creme rubbed on sore areas directly, as long as skin is not open.
High Blood pressure: garlic, lemon juice, cucumbers, supplement w/magnesium.
Beginning at 32 weeks: GBS prep (strep B). A Probiotic: Gy-na-tren, made by Natren Company. www.natren.co.uk for info. Buy at Vitamin Express on Shattuck and Rose Ave. in Berkeley. Use this orally and vaginally for strep neg. testing. Also add Kyolic Garlic caps or fresh raw garlic (better) to your diet daily w/ Ester C with rutin and bioflavinoids, 1-2 x daily, Echinacea tincture and Propolis tincture (separate) 4 x a day take echinacea no longer than 8 weeks at a time, then stop. Lavendar oil baths/douch. Tea tree oil supposatories and alternate w/1 fresh un-nicked clove of garlic inserted vaginally for three weeks before your GBS test. COLLOIDAL SILVER is safe in pregnancy, take three sprays a day. Nutra-biotic Grapefruit seed extract, anti-fugal, antibiotic, anti-viral, 1-2 drops a day mixed in water or juice.
Make love with plain yogurt as a lubricant.
Cervical Ripening: 500 mg. doses of Evening Primrose oil for cervical ripening or cervical scar tissue daily until birth. This may not be necessary for 2nd and third babies so please do consult with me first. Make Love often, sperm is a prostoglandin.

Ginger root, 1/2 part Birth root. Mix together tinctures , shake the bottle before each use. Start taking ther tonic at or afer 36 weeks of pregnancy. Dilute in 1-2 ounces of water, tea, or juice. Take one half teaspoon 2-4 times daily. You can omitt Ginger.
You can also simply just do Blue Cohosh. 20-30 drops in water, 2 times a day, starting at 36 weeks.
. OR to replace uterine tonic herbs you may do HOMEOPATHIC Caullphyllum 6c and Cimiciguga 6c, 2x a day as an alternative.

Hulled mung beans, tempeh, legumes if they do not cause you gas, korean postpartum seaweed soup!! Yum. (Recipe on the internet) Lamb, Chicken and fish soups. Coconut ginger soups, Lassi, yogurt drink, kefir or buttermilk. Also ground nuts in nut milks and sauces. Avoid soy products. WARM FOOD!
Carbs: Basmati, quinoa, cous cous, yams, sweet potatoes, winter squash, oats.
Avoid sucrose, fructose is preferrable. Do not cook with honey.
Fruits: sweet fresh and NOT chilled. Young coconut milk to drink and coconut milk in cream sauces and or soups. Coconut oil is delicious.
Vegetables: Cooked until softer, asparagus, beet, carrot, summer squash, pumpkin, avacado, artichoke, okra, zuccini, green beans, bocolli, broccolrabe.
Be sure to use fresh olive oil (refrigerate) on top, Celtic sea salt to taste, lime or lemon juice for seasoning.
