My remedy:
Blistex Medicated Ointment. (Not the balm!)Take the ointment and gently rub it into the cuts, as well as on your lips. It may burn a little if your cuts are deep or are really inflamed. Apply this at least 3 times daily or when you feel that your lips are dry.

My story:
When I first noticed that I was getting Angular Cheilitis (a cut in the corner of my mouth), I assumed it was no big deal and that it'd heal on it's own. Boy, was I wrong. The cut just kept getting worse and after 3 weeks, I was getting so frustrated that I'd planned to go to the doctor.
Well, before I set up an appointment, my mom suggested I try Blistex. So, I figured it was at least worth a try. Within hours I noticed a difference! After 3 days of using the Blistex, my cut was no longer painful and was starting to heal. It also stopped hurting when I had to open my mouth to yawn or eat, which was amazing. Within about 5 days, it was completely healed.

My cut wasn't very deep or inflamed, but it was extremely painful. When dealing with more serious Angular Cheilitis, it's more than likely going to take longer to heal.

Ill give this a try, mine isn't bad its just annoying makes me feel awkward. Specially when everyone is looking at it

I've been using this Blistex ointment for about a week. It felt like it was going away for the first 3 days, but it came back even thought I'm still using it.
