I am pregnant with my 3 child and as most of you moms know, babies tend to draw calcium from your teeth while pregnant and can cause some problems later on. Well my 2 child did just that. My back bottom molar (wisdom teeth are gone) got a cavatiy, I didn't have insurance and couldn't get it taken care of. Got worse and worse and now there is a giant hole in my tooth. Looks like a scoop of tooth was taken out of the center. Finally went to the dentist and was told I needed a root canal. My appointment is in 1 week and I am in so much pain. Was prescribed anitibiotics and vicodin for the pain, still didn't do anything. So I checked out this site and went through all the remedies. I tried the baking soda rinse. It actually worked about 15 minutes after I did it. If the pain comes back then I will try others, but wanted to let you know that if you're in my situation and can't take certain things because of pregnancy, try this one on for size. 2 Tbls Baking Soda in small glass of warm water. Hold mixture in mouth for a few seconds then spit out. Repeat until glass is empty. Don't swallow the mixture! In about 15 minutes you should feel complete relief! Repeat if necessary! Hope this helps someone else like me! Thanks to all of you for your input and suggestions!
