Ok so all i did for knats was put some ketchup in a bottle and a few drops of dish soap and taped a short straw around the top of the bottle and no more knats. took a few days but almost all were gone.

works with house flies too ;-)

After being invaded by fruit flies from organic fruits & veggies, tried this home remedy. It took about 3 days but the flies thankfully are gone. Found that using apple cider vinegar was more effective than white vinegar. Very satisfying to watch the flies climb into the trap! :-)

We also have gnats and fruit flies from eating organic produce. I found using apple cider vinegar works best. I put 1.5 cups of the cider vinegar in a normal cereal bowl and add 2 tablespoons of any kind of dishsoap. Mix the solution a bit and put where ever they seem to be the worst. I found at least 50 drowned and had sunk to the bottom of the bowl after one night. They will start SWARMING the bowl within minutes! It is the best remedy for flies I have EVER usedused. Good luck!!!
