Ginger is a good way to help with morning sickness, but a physician should be consulted before taking large quantities, especially in cases with a history of miscarriage.

Ginger helps a lot of folks but it never helped me with my morning sickness.

I went to a good acupuncturist which helped some in that I could actually be nausea free for a whole day and keep my meals down. Welcome psychological relief having such a break from constant nausea and vomiting.

But she also told me I had too much heat in my liver meridian so ginger would only make the sickness worse for me! I guess the heat was from some kind of inflammation that had gone on unchecked for years.

A good idea is to prep the body before getting pregnant with prebiotics, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and fermented cod liver oil to set the body up for optimum, non-inflamed functioning.
