I have suffered from RLS for 10 years. I have always self medicated. RLS was a big challenge for me but I have found something that really works for me. I squat next to my bed (keeping your heels off the ground) for about 5 to 10 minutes. Your legs will feel very tired like they have fallen asleep on you. But the RLS goes away long enough to go to sleep. I know this method sound crazy but give it a try.
