There is no magic cure for all people. Each person is different. But, here is the general idea to loose weight.

Consume less calories, exercise more.

I assume that I am going to get nasty comments, but the combination of those two things are what will really help in the long run. You may drop 20 lbs on the latest fad diet, but you'll gain it back when the diet wears thin!

One piece of advice I want to share is this though. If you are craving chocolate, eat chocolate. Or ice cream, chips, what ever it is your craving. But do it in moderation. This is how I would end up....

Hmmm I want candy. I will have an apple.

10 min later.....

Apple didnt do it, I'll have some fruit snacks.

10 min later......

That didn't work. Maybe a small cookie or two.

10 min later....

Argh! Fine. I'll just eat the whole king size candy bar.


I would end up consuming WAY more calories than if I would have just eaten the stupid candy.

well..that might not work for some people..do you have any ideas how they could lose weight in 2 days? i would like to becasue right now i weight 119 lbs. and would like to just be 100,

U are so totally right. I lost 60 lbs about 10 yrs ago and have managed to keep it off, by changing my eating habits.I eat the foods i love, but in moderation. Fad diets never work, the weight comes right back the minute u start eating the wrong foods again..your fat cells never go away they shrink when u lose weight, when u gain they swell up again, which is why you gain.

YOU ARE RIGHT...I GAINED ALOT OF WEIGHT AFTER MY SON...35LBS...NOW IM BACK TO WEARING MY OLD CLOTHES JUST 1 YEAR LATER. AND ALL I DID WAS EAT WHAT I WANTED IN MODERATION AND EXERCISE 4 DAYS A WEEK. SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT WANT TO HEAR THE TRUTH.

yes, I agree.
Just eat what you want. Eat smaller portions of it in moderation.

3 years ago I lost 20 pounds in less than 6 weeks by just eliminating sugar. That included carbs that turn into sugar and have been able to keep that weight by being careful to keep the carbohydrates under control.

Ya I have to say that's the same for me. And you really do just have to watch how MUCH of it you eat. Im going to attempt to lose weight so im going to use part of this to keep in mind.

Wow you have no self control if you have to eat an apple, fruit snacks, cookies, and a candy bar in under an hour.

I lost 50 lbs about 18 months ago, and I eat chocolate EVERY day! I eat about 10-20 M&M's and it takes that craving away so I don't stuff my face later.

That is funny as he!! because it's the truth.... especially when you are use to eating unhealthy, then try switching to healthy eating. If you go cold turkey you'll fail! So just have a candy and move on =)
