Hello everybody! I have some really exciting news that I have been waiting to share with you all. So if you follow this thread a couple weeks back you will find my previous posts on this matter. I too am battling a painful anal abscess; I know wholeheartedly what you are going through and it is terrible. On the last post that I did, which was in early May, I referenced some cell salts that I was going to try out. I wanted to give the tablets at least a month before documenting any success with them and so I did. I began taking the cell salts on May 6th--It is now July 3rd and I am doing soooo much better! I can't stress enough how terrible I was feeling just a few weeks ago, I stopped working and had to withdraw from the college semester.

Please, to anybody reading this: go on Amazon and search up "Silicea cell salts", they are sold by Hyland and are a homeopathic type of medicine. Don't just take my word for it, look through the customer reviews and read some of the testimonies. I was blown away when I read some of the stories on there and I was willing to try anything. After all, the antibiotics prescribed by my doctor had terrible side effects! Idk why pharmacies continue to give us these deadly medicines. The silicea cell salts are said to clear up boils and abscesses by pushing out all the infection and keeping it deflated. Now all I see down there is a pea sized cut where the abscess use to be.

Don't get me wrong, I still feel something down there that shouldn't be there but I am doing so much better. For all I know, the infection is still there internally--but I am just glad I can resume my normal life again without the unbearable pain I was under. I was so close to getting surgery but a surgeon that I saw told me about the risks and chance of recurrence and it made me really skeptical about getting the surgery. I'm glad I came across these, I am going to keep taking the cell salts and I'll keep documenting any changes I see.

How much did you take and how often?

No mo

What you feel left there could be scar tissue! It may not be any infection at all :-)

Congratulations to you!

L Guimond, I took 4 cell salts at once three times a day, morning noon and night.

Please continue to tell us about the condition of your abscess as I am also suffering from this problem. I think i have had it for almost 6 months now. I use an antibiotic cream to treat it and the abscess goes down after a couple of days. A few weeks later another abscess emerges and i repeat the same treatment. Im pretty certain I have a fistula but i really don't want to have surgery. I hope your problem is solved without surgery as it gives me some hope that mine will heal without it aswell.

I've done some research into other homeopathic treatments for a fistula and i found that there are several of them. One of them is called the myristica sebifera and is used to drain away any remaining puss. After using this, silicea pills(same as you are using) should be taken as this causes the duct to dry and close which will prevent future abscesses from occuring again. I have not bought them yet but I am considering to do so. There are also many more medicines found on other websites so make sure to check them out

Instead of buying the same cell salts as you, I found these silica capsules, since silica and silicea are the same thing. It says on the front that it helps with hair skin and nails just like the cell salts. Im thinking of getting these capsules since they last longer (120 capsules, take one a day). Here is a link

Could you tell me if they are the same? I'm pretty sure they do the same thing.

@Anonymous Cali Kid, how long did you have to take the cell salts before it was healed? Would I need to purchase the 1000 tablet bottle?

I have been using oregano oil heavily diluted with St. John's wart oil (a reddish substance). Started to relieve the pain and swelling instantly. I only came across this after I had already fully drained it na few times and kept having it fill up and inflame again. My abcess also gets incredibly itchy and the oil relieves that effect too.

@Anonymous Sorry for the late reply I haven't got on here in a while, I hope you still get this message. Listen, I don't know about those pills that you are talking about. The only ones I can testify for are the Silicia cell salts that I mentioned. I don't want to suggest the other ones since I personally don't have any experience taking that particular brand. If you want my advice just take the ones I am recommendind.

@Anon10 Again, sorry for the late response. I took the cell salts for 4 weeks before I started feeling significantly better. After 2 months I felt great, thank god. Now, I have ordered the bottle 3 times and I haven't stopped taking them just to make sure the awful thing doesn't come back. I purchased the 1000 tablet bottle and it was under $20 bucks I believe, more or less around that price.
