I agree that ginger in all forms seems to work well. Sometimes though, only prescription medications work. I'm on a sack of different medications and the morphine makes me feel rank. The prescription antiemetics that seem to work best for me (and maybe you too) are:
Prochlorperazine (Buccal preparation) is good if you can't keep anything down - they simply dissolve on your gum.
Ondansetron - works within 5-10 minutes.
Domperidone (not to be confused with Domperignon!!) - works similarly to Ondansetron.
Cyclizine - an old antiemetic with mixed results. Some people have reported that this medication makes them feel sick - ironic!
