I cannot believe people are actually saying things like apply bleach, pop it with a needle, or put nail polish remover on it. These things are absolutely dangerous and should never be done!
Whenever I get a fever blister, I apply Vicksburg and wait it out. But since having my son, whom I love to kiss, I was looking for things that would work faster. I've since put Desitin and a bandage over it. I don't have rubbing alcohol or anything. I have tea bags and may try that too.
Please do not follow these other very dangerous methods of "home remedies". Bleach and acetone are not supposed to go directly on the skin!
