Yeast Infections Home Remedy Comments

1 Comment for the Yeast Infections Home Remedy

I recently dealt with a severe yeast infection for 2 1/2 months. I was ITCHY, SWOLLEN and DEPRESSED! My symptoms were so extreme one morning around 3:00 that I went to the ER. Please don't say a YI has no place in the ER. I was tired, itchy all with vaginal pain! After being treated with at least 5 tubes of YI cream, Diflucan and prayer, I gave in and tried home remedies. After my 4th tube of a 7 day cream, I finally found Tea Tree Oil (a Necessary staple). As sore and as itchy as I was, I did not dilute the oil, I just used it regular strength. Guess what? The itch went away for a couple hours. I decided to try another batch of generic, 7 day YI cream along with the Tea Tree Oil. Before applying the cream at night, I filled a pan with warm water and put 3 drops of oil into the water, sat on the toilet and poured the warmer, oily water over my vagina, which felt deliciously wonderful. I then inserted the cream and went to bed! I did that for 2 weeks. I stopped using the cream the week after and started using the Tea Tree Oil and water mix 2-4 times a day! I had remarkable results. After about 1.5 weeks, I got my 5th jar of damn cream, but I continued with the oil treatments. Finally, after using the 7 day supply of cream, I purchased a small spray bottle. I filled it with a TBSP of peroxide (another staple), about a tsp of Tea Tree Oil and filled the rest of the bottle with water. I sprayed every time I urinated. Yes, it felt wonderful. The 2nd week, I did not have to use vagisil or any other anti-itch cream because for the most part the thickish discharge was gone and the ITCH was faint. I could use Vaseline to calm it.

A TBSP of peroxide

Tsp of Tea tree oil

Fill the rest of the bottle with water and shake it

Spray vagina

Afterwards dry vagina (lie on the bed, open legs and fan with a piece of paper or cardboard.

Apply creams (if any)

I'm dying, it's been over 3 weeks. Swollen and sore, itchy and anxious. I'm on my 3rd treatment, 2 oral and 1 vaginal. I'm 46 and wondering if it's premenopausal and stress. Teatree oil stopped working but I want to try that spray!
