Simply put aloe vera on the effected area. This also helps with razor bumps.

Aloe burns really bad! Desitin works great...it's been the only thing that has ever worked for me for razor burn.

Aloe does work! Yes it burns at first but that goes away. After some time it feels nice and cool.

Even Dr.Oz says it works! He has a video on his website about razor burns etc. Check it out!

I suspect using aloe vera only works for certain people. I tried it for about 2 weeks and it didn't work...it just made it itchier.

I tried this and it worked. I did use a piece of aloe from the plant I have. Didn't even burn a little, relief came right away. Although mine didn't itch. Just burned really bad.

Aloe vera burns because most brands contain alcohol and razor burn is simply a bunch of little cuts. That's why using it straight from the plant doesn't hurt.

Aloe works great, BUT you need to use straight aloe juice either directly from the plant (best) or bottled. If it is the bottled stuff, it should be light in color and thin. The thicker bright green gel commonly bought at the store is not straight aloe. It also contains alcohol, among other things, so of course that will sting. Pure aloe juice is soothing.
