I stopped eating after 5 pm, gave up sodas, and walked 3 to 4 miles 3 times a week I lost 58 lbs in 7 weeks and still have it off 5 years later even after another pregnancy.

I have done this also and lost 75 lbs. I think not eating after a certain hour makes a HUGE difference. If you already excersize the weight just falls off.

That sounds wonderful, but I don't even get off work until 5pm and have a family to cook for. There is no one that can't lose weight by exercising that much and watching what you eat.

I did this as well I stopped eating after 5pm and I lost 20 pounds and even as I started having snacks after 5pm it stayed off so for the most part I don't eat after 5pm but sometimes I might have a snack and I don't gain it back..but if I stay strict I lose more....not eating after 5pm really does work!

What type of foods did you eat or no longer eat. How many times did you eat a day

I am doing the Jerusalem Diet, but if I add this technique with it I may lose more weight, Ill try it, ill keep you updated.

I did something similar, but used 8pm as a deadline (I work long days, too!). The effect was similar. I've also heard that exercising in the morning (as opposed to evening) is significantly more effective, as it boosts your metabolism for the entire day.
