10 years ago on occasion when I was very tired I would get restless legs, it was like giving a 10 year old kid a few caffeinated sodas, my legs would not be still. In the last three years it went from on occasion to every night it was almost impossible to get a good night sleep. I would wake my wife have her massage my calf muscles or scratch my back (to take my mind off my legs being restless)

I was dying for relief I read who knows how many pages of this forum looking for relief.

I started to pay more attention to what I ate or drank (adult beverages) and if it affected my sleep. On day after actually getting some sleep I figured out that I had a banana the day before.

I ate bananas every day for a month and have not had any more RLS, now I just eat them on occasion.

I am not saying this will help everyone but it is a cheap way to try and solve this and I am not a person that will take a pill to fix something.

I am a white male 49 5 7' 150 active I run 2-3 days a week 3-5 miles, do not sit around much except for work in front of a computer. I always drink 2-3 quarts of water a day and try and eat decent but could use to eat more greens, just giving my background.

You problem was probably cramping due to low potassium and not RLS. I have a chronic problem with low potassium and I have blood work every few weeks and have to take potassium tablets(constantly changing doses). Glad you found relief.
