Ladies this may sound weird but, during a really bad yeast infection a couple of years ago, I randomly decided to try saline solution for cleaning contacts. Any off store brand will do. I spray it all over the affected area and let it sit for about five to ten minutes. Then I dry myself off and the yeast infection is gone within an hour and I only have to do it once. I've treated 4 yeast infections with it and it has worked every time.

This does work. Although I may have to do it again because I didn't let it sit for ten minutes. I took a Epsom salt bath first with a ton of Epsom salts, then used contact saline solution because it still itched and was inflamed. I sprayed contact solution over the area and the swelling went down, and the itch subsided. Now I only have minor swelling, no itch and no discharge. I actually slept through the whole night. It's weird but try it!!

Would just regular hot water and salt work the same way? Also would like Opti-free(a contact solution brand) work okay? I'm desperate and need help ):

This was very helpful I had used the OTC cream and OMG more painful than YI itself...I had some of the solution in my medicine cabinet, and it worked for pain and itching...without this I would've been miserably uncomfortable.Thank you for tip!!!
