I'm glad I found this site. After taking antibiotics which messed up my stomach, I have been experiencing acid reflux for a few weeks. What really helps me is chewing ginger gum. You can find it at the drugstore and it usually helps the reflux go away instantly. I've started taking a digestive enzyme with probiotics before every meal and it helps tremendously. I also found apples to work. I was also surprised to find that lying down on my left side helps a lot and lying on my right side makes it worse. Keeping upright, taking a walk or even just walking around the house after a meal helps me as well.
