Use fish oil capsules.

Start with 2 1000 mg capsules three times a day about one week before cessation. After 2-3 weeks, cut down to 1 capsule 3 times a day. A few weeks after that, take 1 capsule in the morning and one in the evening.

I started this regimen 8 months and one week ago and still take 2 capsules per day. They really help to stabilize the mood swings and cravings associated with quitting. Oh yeah, and I am smoke free 8 months as well.
