If you want to get rid of a cold sore in 2 days FOR SURE, try this method.....you will need

1.) Rubbing alcohol
2.) Ice pack
3.) Abreva/med lip balm

If you catch your cold sore early on put Abreva it asap, but if your like me and only realise you have one oncInc you hit the 'blister' phase then this is what you do

Get a q tip or fold a piece of paper towel into a small rectangular stick, dip into alcohol and hold onto affected area for 45 mins, now of course this will hurt like hell but only for the first 5-10 min, just suck it up and move on to step 2 ICE you want to ice your cold sore to number the stinging sensation and reduce the swelling, so hold the ice over it for about 10 mins after that your ready for step 3 ABREVA use abreva or any other medicated lip balm to cover your sore for about an hour or two after you have completed all of these steps....DO IT AGAIN that sucker will be gone before you know it trust me I had 3 cold sores at ONCE and they are all gone on day 3!!

Cold sores are typically a manifestation of the non-curable herpes simplex virus. But you can easily get rid or them forever through natural remedies. garlic has great antiviral properties which people can use to get relief from a cold sore. Cut up the garlic into smaller cloves, place one of the cold sore, this should make the cold sore recede then completely destroy it. The great thing about using garlic for this is that it doesn’t sting the person or make them want to scratch it; this will provide a source of relief when it comes to getting rid of the cold sore. 1. Take some baking soda
2. Add water
3. Mix well to make a paste
4. Apply this paste on the infection

This will help dry up and heal the blisters.

This is my first time actually having the blisters & let me tell you I'm treating this monster like I would any other unwelcome guest. I woke up this morning with the blisters so I did my research & was determined not to be miserable for a number of days. I popped them by continuously & firmly rubbing them with alcohol & then the ones that didn't respond to that got poked with a safety pin. Then I applied firm pressure to it with a rag doused in alcohol for about 30 minutes (replenishing the alcohol every so often) then I applied ice for about 30 minutes. After that some good old Vaseline regularly & the next morning I was golden! This was a battle I was not willing to loose!!
