Thyme oil got rid of my wart in 2 weeks!

I had a plantar wart on my foot, on the balls of my foot, right below my pinkie toe. I have been tackling it for about 6 months and have tried so many things to no avail, until i landed on this site and tried one of the remedies. THYME OIL.I just pulled out that ugly wart and am in the process of recovering right now. It took 2 weeks to get here and the result was short of miraculous. Here's the brief history and my previous failed attempts. If you want to skip tot the good stuff, go to the last two paragraphs, I don't want to bore you with my long story :).

In the beginning, when I first noticed the wart, (which I thought was a callus or a corn) I tried the Dr. Scholls - CLEAR AWAY pads (40% Salicylic Acid). I first cut the disk to the size of my wart and applied it for a few weeks. That didn't work our very well, it just bore a small hole in my foot and the wart grew back. So then, I decided to use the disk (the circular medicated pad) at the original size without cutting it, well that didn't work either coz it just damaged my skin around the wart and still didn't get rid of it.

So I went to a podiatrist and he told me to try duct tape before we looked at other alternatives. I did that (covering the wart with duct tape and changing every few days, soaking and scraping off dead skin with each change) for about 8 weeks before I started getting frustrated by the lack of progress. I did some research on the web and discovered that I can use APPLE CIDER VINEGAR on the wart and cover it with the duct tape, change it every 5 days and i should see a result in 5 weeks. I tried that, and in the beginning it did work. It slowly softened my skin around the wart so i was able to scrape off the dead skin and expose the wart more and more.

But then, all of a sudden, the wart started growing back, and this time it spread to two more spots. I was so frustrated i was close to tears. It was so painful to walk on and now there's two more to deal with. I panicked and decided to do one more Internet research and landed on this site.

I decided to try something i haven't tried before, so I went with Thyme oil. I saw two posts that swore it was very quick and effective so I decided to give it a try. In a matter of 2 weeks, my big wart was completely out, my smaller one is on its way to hell and the one that was just sprouting up is nowhere to be found. I AM SO EXCITED AND THANKFUL TO THOSE WHO SHARED THEIR EXPERIENCE ON THIS SITE.

So, ok, down to the details. Here's what I did. I would first soak my feet and scrape away some of the dead tissue. Then I'd cut off a little piece of cotton and soak it in the thyme oil, spread it out into a little flat layer that i used to cover my wart completely. They I'd cover it with duct tape and leave it for 24 hours. (I used a larger piece of duct tape to make sure it would cover the wart and stay on, sometimes I'd add another piece over top to secure it). After 24 hours i'd remove the duct tape (you'll notice that the sticky part of the duct tape is almost melted and stuck to your foot, don't panic, you can easily remove that using the same oil, just soak a little piece of cotton in the oil and rub the sticky stuff off your foot). Once I've cleaned it and got rid of the stickiness, I would soak my feet again and repeat the process. I didn't use a pumice stone to flake away some of the dead skin around the wart, just because, instead I flaked it off with my nails (I know this is kind of risky because you might spread the wart even further by doing this. And I was scared of that so when i'm done dealing with my foot, I'd wash and dry my hands and put a drop of Thyme oil on my fingers, also right under my nails too)

The result – wart stopped spreading, It was less and less painful, and it started coming to the surface more and more, until I finally plucked it out. Just to stay on the safe side, I'll keep using the Thyme oil until all traces of the wart are gone and my foot completely recovers.
