Lemon juice is high in acid content, which causes enamel erosion and other dental problems.

NO!! Do NOT do this. Lemon juice eats the enamel off your teeth and makes you SO much more likely to get cavities.

I actually found this tip on the Dr. Oz website, but instead of doing it for 2 minutes, it's recommended to do it no longer than 1 minute.

Say goodbye to your enamel!

OK, so you mixed an acid and a base together. What exactly do you think made this work?

Never use lemon juice it takes the enamel right off your teeth and whoever commented on seeing this on Dr.Oz let me tell you Dr.oz came close to killing me with his cinnamon trick I will never again do anything Dr.oz says or watch the show again.Needless to say just dont use lemon juice.

Guys, there isn't even enough lemon juice to harm your teeth. How much lemon juice do you think is in lemonade? A lot more than this remedies calls for! This is PERFECTLY FINE and works great.

you cant even spell.. why should anyone believe this?

Unfortunately, Dr. Oz is a quack when it comes to anything other than Cardiology issues. Anyone recommending you place lemon juice on you teeth is going to to end up permanently etching & removing the enamel. Lemon juice is acidic and even short exposures damage teeth.
The person claiming brushing your teeth with baking soda & lemon juice is harmless and the same as drinking lemonaide, is lacking any basic science knowledge. Lemonaide is made from a small amount of lemon juice or citric acid diluted in a large amount of water. This is very different that pure lemon juice placed directly on the teeth. Any aicic drink can harm the enamel if you do it long enough.
I have a MS degree in Public Health Education & Dr. Oz gives out much information that is incorrect or untrue.
Just because a person has an MD license dosen't mean he knows what he is talking about. The man does heart surgery. On his TV show he just reads what is on the que cards.

Not a smart idea using lemon juice for your enamel
