Bicarbonate of Soda dabbed on the ulcer will clear it up quickly. Dip finger in powder and apply to ulcer, leave for as long as possible. It will sting at first but will give relief soon after.

Used the Oral Gel and still hurt enough to bring tears to my eyes but the result was worth the pain. It feels so much better! Does anyone know if I need to use more than once?

For less pain I would dissolve a teaspoon or two of bicarb soda in a small glass of water and rinse your mouth with it every few hours, stings a little but not nearly so much.

I've had a pesky mouth ulcer hanging around for about 5 days now and tonight dabbed some bicarb on it. Yes it stung (tears to the eyes), however, there is far worse pain in life! Once the initial sting wore off, it was instant relief. I'm not sure why so many people are complaining! It's now several hours later and the pain is still at bay. I'll keep using bicarb over the next day or two without a doubt.

I've also used it for years to soothe and heal urinary tract infections by dissolving a couple of teaspoons in a glass of warm water and drinking as quickly as possible. Just for the record, this is much more unpleasant than dabbing a little dry bicarb on an ulcer!

Definitely helped stings at first but better than the nagging pain of ulcer feel better already after 5 minutes. B12 vitamin tomorrow for me.
