I usually don't post on things but this is a topic close to my heart. I have had terrible mc for years. The last two periods though have been soooo much better. I started taking coconut oil every day. I have found a few posts online that others have experienced relief with this as well. But that is not all I have changed. a couple of months ago I started taking 2 Tablespoons of Braggs ACV mixed with 1 tsp of baking soda in about 4 ounces of water. I do the acv and baking soda for 2 weeks before my period and during the first two days of my period. Also, taking mustard will help cramps tremendously. (even leg cramps) You can take just plain yellow mustard or you can find a mustard seed supplement. I take the supplement and I combine it with red raspberry leaves and cayenne pepper capsule. I also start taking magnesium which helps. Oh, by the way, to some people mustard is a laxative. If you look on amazon and find the book coconut oil miracle, you will find it has high reviews. The reviews talk about all the things coconut oil is good for. I started taking coconut oil and it has helped me in many respects, I have energy like I haven't had in years. Today is usually the worst day of my period and I have no pain and I am full of energy, laughing and singing. I also started drinking an 8 ounce glass of v8 every day. I started this about two weeks ago. I add pureed brocoli and pureed beets into the v8. This may have helped the equation as well. I'm really not trying to gloat. I want to encourage you that you can find things that really help.
