If you can't afford going to the dentist, try this:
1. Put clove oil on the affected area.
2. Use onion or garlic on the affected areas.
3. Use a mouthwash with alcohol, like Listerine.
4. Brush with sensitivity toothpaste.
5. Use salt and pepper.
6. Use cayenne pepper.
7. Crush cloves and put the crushed cloves on the affected area.
8. Use vanilla extract, almond extract, lemon extract, or pepper mint extract.
9. Stop eating at fast food restaurants. You can get better for you food at home.
10. Ice and Antibiotics.
11. BRUSH YOUR DARN TEETH.

Ok I brush my teeth everyday. But I am part of a family that just has bad teeth. I have tried everything on your list and some of it work for a few hrs and can't paid to get it pulled. Should I just pull it myself?

J

NO!!! Do NOT pull it yourself. Look it up but people can die from getting infections in their mouth and not taking care of it properly. It can spread to some serious problems. Some dentists have payment plans or offer credit assistance.

Thank you j. But the pain, I can't take it anymore can't sleep can't eat. All the dentist wants to do is just look at it. I went the three of them, all ready. they say the same thing i dont understand why your in so much pain. i just want the pain to go away.

some people have bad teeth no matter what or how many times they brush their teeth. so keep your nasty attitude to yourself and learn how to spell.

Why would you assume that because someone has a toothache, that they eat fast food or don't brush their teeth? Seems rather presumptuous and mean. My husband had a tooth break when he was hit in the mouth by an air soft pellet. We didn't have insurance so a cavity developed causing him a lot of discomfort. You are simply attempting to be Holier Than Thou. Stop!

Thanks for the tips, but everyone gets a toothache. I'm sure most of us brush our teeth. If you were really trying to give us advice on oral care you would have said floss your teeth. A lot of times a toothache is caused by something stuck between the teeth, such as a popcorn husk. Sometimes flossing on both sides of the hurt tooth is all one needs to do.

A long time ago I had a tooth ache from a sunflower kernel being stuck between two of my teeth on the left side of my mouth.
It became infected, and didn't hurt unless I had something sugary.
My family also has bad genetic history with dental issues. :/

Ive tried everything and what eventually worked for me were 2 low dose vicodin and chloraseptic drops placed between the cheek and gums where the pain is!!!

Well I brush my teeth twice a day, I take medication once a day for neck pain because of a car accident, With the medication I take after taking it for several years, my teeth are starting to have pain, and that is not from no brushing or eating junk food, so it isn't because of these things we get a tooth hake. i've been puting orajel for 2 hrs every 15 minutes, now i tried puting garlic salt with luke warm water and I just might fall a sleep. so happy for reading most of these comments. Dentist I will see you on Monday first thing. with no insurance. but paying for that or paying for alcohol, Hey I rather not have pain then drinking Vodka.
From I see here. everyone has money for vodka but no money for dentist to take pain away. wake up call.

A bottle of vodka is 30-60 dollars... A root canal can be 300-600 dollars...
