OK, zero cutting, zero prying at nail, zero pulling. I treated a well advanced, ingrown toenail very simply.

1. Tiger Balm - white if possible
2. Betadine solution for the home small yellow bottle ( if you can't get this, just try washing in salt water)
3. A plaster

apply betadine first to the ingrown area, let it say until dry, around 2 mins. (or wash in luke warm salt water for 5 mins, and dry)

apply tiger balm until the area around in the ingrown bit is covered

just put a plaster around it

Do this morning after you wake up and at night before bed for 2 weeks and the nail with grow out.

Will the red tiger balm work and is betadine the same as iodine?

this really works. We used salt water, two weeks strait although a in about a week only my mother's toe nail looked very normal and there was no pain anymore. It is been now a few months and it is still fine. Thank you for posting this recipe.

Tiger balm is the boom...After sleepless nite in pain and almost removing my toe nail I got this online that tiger balm can help ingrown nail. I was sorted overnight I soak my foot in salt and vinegar for 20mins I than dried my foot &applied tiger balm covered toe with plaster. Next day the puss had oozed out pain went down 90\% in 2days my toe was almost fully healed.
