Hi. I was married for 10 years. I married virgin. I divorced and began ceing another man that also was married and separated at that momemnt. Since he was married for years and had children I assumed he was feithful like me and was clean - I know, very naive and stupid of me but how else 10 year vorgin married and faithful woman should think (rainbows and sun:( ). I got the gift. I was prescribed Valtrex but I don't like take meds that kill my liver and damage my kidneys and make my hair fall out, etc. So, I take a lot of Vitamin C, which helps I noticed by boosting my immune. Also, when I do get OB, I, Instead drinking meds, shave them; wet my finger; rub my wet finger in med shaving and then rub it into the sore. I found it heals sore almost immediately, releives pain and meds last forever :) Unfortunaly I have no cure for heartbreak :( Does anyone LOL

Hi , with my first ourbreak, my Dr put me on Valtrex and it eventually cleared up. Then my DR. who prescribes natural remedies put me on Monolaurin (no prescription necessary - available at your health food store or online). He had me take 4 pills, 3 times per day and then gradually reduce it down to 1 or 2 tablets twice a day. I was told it kills the virus that lives dormant in the nerves along the spinal cord between flair ups. I didn't have a recurrence for 5 years as long as I took the MOnolaurin. Then an acupuncturist tested me for all of my supplements and said that I did not test well for Monolaurin, so I quit taking it. Now, 9 months later, I have a flair up. I will take Valtrex to get it under control. I am already back on the Monolaurin and you better believe I will continue to take it for maintenance.
