I'm going to say no you can't use it on your furniture because vinegar bleaches cloth.

I sprayed on my furniture & it was fine. Also sprayed on beds. Hoping it works, even on the dog. He didn't like being sprayed with it but he got over it.

Does it matter if this is iodized salt or just plain salt?

Guess my dogs have super fleas, I used a flea comb, dropped fleas directly into cup of mixture and watched them (swim) for over 5 minutes, so I did not experience fleas dropping off dead

Great tip! I used Organic APPLE CIDER Vinagre, Sea Salt, Alum-Free Baking Soda and Water in a clean spray bottle. I tested it on my own skin FIRST to check for irritation or stingy and it was fine. My dog was at the point of scratching himself raw and not able to sit still - this is after trying the usual ocean swim and rinse, baking soda and SLS-free soap baths, tea tree sprayetc. This AC Vinagre solution stopped him from itching immediately. He went and laid down as if the last few days and all his raw spots didn't exist. Thank you!!! I prefer a chemical free solution for all beings in my household and this truly is fantastic.

Tried this shit but it never worked

I am going to try this using water that I have steeped rosemary leaves in and see if it helps with the smell and repels the fleas longer as well. Combining the treatment with BORAX sprinkled on and then vacuumed out of the carpet.
