8 oz apple cider vinegar
4 oz warm water

Mix dry ingredients first then slowly add to wet as the vinegar and baking soda will react slightly. Be careful not to get in pets eyes.

First time I'll be trying this mix out and I'll let everyone know how it does here in Hawaii .

Can you use this mix in the dogs ears for ticks and mites as well? I just got a rescue puppy. She's just a baby and has ticks. More than willing to try, just need to know it works.

have tried this one and my dog is not scratching now..

This is an amazing tip, my moms dog was infested with tick. I gave my mom the ingredients and with in days the ticks and flees started to dry now she is tick and flee free.

We just finish with our baby and is loving it! The fleas died almost instantly! Thanks Guys for the remedy and your comments they really helped.

I tried this today and it seemed to work, and my dog stop itching as much. But i still plan to buy thefrontline plus

I just realized that the ingredient in Frontline is the ant killer. I don't want to put that on my cat, so next time I will try this.

Just finished bathing my dogs in this as one of my dogs was scratching herself raw and I do not like the idea of medicated flea shampoo. About a second after I poured it on her, 4 ticks fell right off. I let her soak for about 5 minutes and no more fell off and I don't see any upon inspection. She smells like salad and after an initial freak out session rubbing against the edge of the bed, she is not scratching. I think it had burned a little where she has really done some serious scratching. Keeping my fingers crossed because she was really suffering.

This really worked. Cheap and easy. Thanks!
